• 340 hp from a 3.0L turbocharged inline-six
• Head-up display standard

Summary

This BMW X5 arrives in white, a top-tier resale choice for the local market, and carries the Exclusive trim that adds high-demand features like a head-up display and premium cabin finishes. While the mileage reflects active use for a 7-year-old vehicle, this generation is highly regarded for its mechanical reliability and its ability to handle the GCC climate with a robust cooling system. It offers a more engaging drive than the Lexus RX while remaining more practical for daily commuting than the Porsche Cayenne. For a buyer looking to step into a modern BMW SUV with a six-cylinder petrol engine that excels on the E11 or E311, this listing represents a well-timed opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2019 X5s

At 142,000 km, this vehicle has covered approximately 20,000 km per year, which is the standard average for highway-heavy driving in the GCC. The white exterior is a strategic advantage, as it is the most sought-after color in the regional used market for its heat-reflecting properties and superior resale value.

40i EXCLUSIVE vs Lower Trims

The Exclusive trim elevates the cabin experience over the standard xLine by including the BMW Live Cockpit Professional and a larger head-up display as standard. It also typically adds more refined Vernasca leather and multi-contour seats, features that provide essential comfort during the long, hot drives across the Emirates.

X5 vs Segment Rivals

The X5 leads the Mercedes-Benz GLE in driver engagement and infotainment speed, thanks to the intuitive iDrive 7.0 system. Against the Audi Q7, this BMW offers a more compact footprint that is easier to park in urban centers like Downtown Dubai, without sacrificing the 3,500 kg braked towing capacity needed for weekend marine activities.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.0L B58 engine is known for its efficiency, averaging roughly 10.5 L/100km in combined driving, though GCC city traffic may push this higher. BMW has a vast authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, making maintenance straightforward. This model year generally retains about 40-45% of its value after seven years in the GCC, representing a stabilized depreciation point for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

With 340 hp and a 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds, this SUV offers rapid highway overtaking capabilities. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system provides excellent stability on gravel roads and during the rare but heavy rainy seasons. Its 8-speed Steptronic transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, ensuring comfort whether you are in stop-start traffic or cruising at 140 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout provides generous legroom for all passengers, supported by a multi-zone climate control system designed to combat 45°C summer peaks. The cabin is well-insulated from exterior road and wind noise, creating a quiet environment for the standard premium audio system. A large panoramic glass roof adds an airy feel to the interior, even during mid-day drives.

Safety

This X5 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation and Lane Departure Warning. These systems are particularly valuable for high-speed highway commuting between emirates. Additionally, the standard 360-degree camera and Park Distance Control make navigating tight mall parking structures effortless and safe.

The bottom line

Perfect for the growing family or executive who demands BMW's signature driving dynamics in a GCC-spec package that has already moved past its steepest depreciation curve.
