Summary

This 2020 C300 AMG combines executive presence with the responsive agility of a rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan. Its mileage is consistent with average highway-heavy driving in the UAE, ensuring the powertrain has been regularly run at optimal temperatures. Finished in a sharp Blue, it offers better resale visibility than common monochrome shades while maintaining the prestigious C-Class silhouette. The AMG styling package elevates this car above the base model, providing a more aggressive road stance and higher-specification interior materials. For a GCC buyer, this represents an accessible entry into Mercedes-Benz ownership with a balance of modern tech and proven performance.

This Car vs Other 2020 C300s

At approximately 95,000 km, this vehicle sits near the average annual mileage for GCC-based daily drivers, where long highway commutes are the norm. The Blue exterior is a refreshing alternative to typical fleet colors, offering a distinct look that performs well in the used market. Being an American-spec car, it often includes premium tech packages that were optional in other regions, providing a high-spec cabin experience for the price.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG styling package transforms the C300 from a standard executive sedan into a sport-focused machine with deeper bumpers, side skirts, and distinct AMG-line wheels. Inside, you benefit from sports-bolstered seats and brushed aluminum pedals, creating a more tactile and premium environment than the base interior. It also features upgraded braking components and a sport-tuned suspension that provides sharper handling through city corners.

C300 vs Segment Rivals

The C300 leads rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 in interior craftsmanship, utilizing a design language shared with the flagship S-Class. Its 2.0L engine delivers a refined power delivery through a 9-speed automatic, which is smoother for long drives between Emirates compared to the snappier gearboxes of its competitors. With a 66-litre fuel tank, it offers superior long-distance range for cross-border trips or long desert highway stretches.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for its class, averaging around 9.2 L/100km, though this varies between Dubai’s stop-start traffic and high-speed highway cruising. As an American-spec vehicle, it provides a lower entry cost than GCC-spec equivalents, though buyers should note that authorized dealer service eligibility may differ. Parts availability is excellent across the UAE and the wider GCC due to the massive regional popularity of the W205 generation C-Class.

Performance & Capability

The C300 is capable of reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, showcasing the high-speed stability Mercedes is known for on the UAE’s multi-lane motorways. With 370 Nm of torque available from as low as 1,800 rpm, highway overtaking is effortless and instantaneous. The Dynamic Select system allows you to toggle between Comfort for the daily commute and Sport+ for a more engaging steering and throttle response.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight, featuring a 10.25-inch high-resolution display and a layout designed to insulate passengers from the high external temperatures of the Gulf. High-quality acoustic insulation keeps the cabin quiet at highway speeds, while the dual-zone climate control is engineered to reach cabin-cool temperatures quickly. Standard sunroof and power-adjustable seats ensure long-distance comfort during inter-city travel.

Safety

This trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring Blind Spot Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, both essential for the fast-moving traffic on the E11. Active Brake Assist provides an extra layer of protection in city traffic, while the advanced airbag system and stability control ensure peace of mind on varying road surfaces. The vehicle's radar systems are optimized for long-range detection, assisting in high-speed highway safety.

The bottom line

Perfect for the young professional or small family, this C300 AMG offers the prestige and performance of a modern Mercedes-Benz at a competitive price point due to its regional specification.
