Summary

This Porsche 911 Carrera is a prime example of the 992 generation, offering a perfect balance of daily usability and track-ready performance. With just 25,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly less than the typical GCC annual average, making it a highly desirable find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The classic black-on-black color combination is a perennial favorite in the UAE market, ensuring strong resale demand and timeless appeal. As a GCC-spec model, it features the cooling and filtration systems necessary to handle the region's extreme summer heat with ease. This 911 remains the definitive everyday supercar, outclassing rivals with its precision engineering and iconic silhouette.

This Car vs Other 2020 911s

With a mileage of 25,000 km, this Carrera has been driven roughly half the distance of an average 2020 vehicle in the GCC, where 20,000 km per year is the standard benchmark. The black exterior is among the top three most requested colors in the UAE used market, providing a significant advantage for future resale value. Maintaining low mileage on a 992-generation 911 typically places it in a premium bracket compared to high-use highway examples often found in the region.

CARRERA vs Lower Trims

As the foundational 992 model, the Carrera standardizes the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and the improved 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. Unlike previous generations, the 2020 Carrera shares the wide-body chassis once reserved for higher trims, giving it a more aggressive stance and improved high-speed stability on GCC highways. It also includes the 'Wet Mode' drive setting as standard, a critical safety feature for the sudden, heavy rainstorms occasionally seen in the Emirates.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 Carrera leads the Audi R8 and Jaguar F-Type in daily practicality, offering a 2+2 seating configuration that provides extra utility for small children or additional storage. Its rear-engine layout offers superior traction and a unique driving character that front-engined rivals cannot replicate. For the GCC driver, the Porsche's air conditioning system is widely regarded as one of the most robust in the sports car segment, maintaining cabin comfort even in 45°C temperatures.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.0L twin-turbo flat-six achieves a combined fuel consumption of approximately 9.4 L/100km, which is efficient for a car of this performance caliber during long Abu Dhabi to Dubai highway cruises. Official service intervals are set at 15,000 km or one year, though local specialists often recommend 10,000 km oil changes to account for the dust and heat of the Middle East. The 911 famously retains about 92% of its value over five years, one of the lowest depreciation rates in the luxury segment across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Performance & Capability

A top speed of 293 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.2 seconds ensure this Carrera remains a formidable presence on the road. The 8-speed PDK transmission is lightning-fast, providing smooth shifts that make city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai effortless while remaining razor-sharp for weekend drives. The rear-wheel-drive setup paired with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) delivers a pure, connected driving experience that remains stable at high cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features a high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen and a digital cockpit that blends modern tech with the classic five-dial instrument cluster layout. Despite its performance focus, the cabin is well-insulated from road noise, making it suitable for long-distance travel between emirates. The dual-zone automatic climate control is specifically calibrated to handle high ambient temperatures, ensuring the 2+2 cabin stays chilled throughout the summer months.

Safety

Standard safety features include Porsche Wet Mode, which detects water on the road and adjusts the stability control and aerodynamics for maximum safety. The car is equipped with front and rear parking sensors and a comprehensive airbag system as standard. For the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the GCC, the precision of the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and the powerful four-piston monobloc brakes provide immense stopping power and confidence in all conditions.

The bottom line

This low-mileage, GCC-spec 911 Carrera is a rare find for a buyer seeking the ultimate combination of iconic prestige and modern reliability. It represents a secure investment in a vehicle that is equally at home on a daily commute as it is on a weekend sprint.
