Summary

This 2021 Giulia Quadrifoglio offers a rare combination of Ferrari-developed power and daily-driver practicality in the UAE. With 57,000 km on the clock, its mileage is exactly where you’d expect for a five-year-old performance sedan in the GCC, suggesting it has been enjoyed primarily on the open highways rather than idling in city heat. The Blue exterior provides a sophisticated alternative to the common silver or white, maintaining strong appeal in the local enthusiast market. As the flagship trim, it delivers a raw, rear-wheel-drive purity that its German rivals have largely traded for all-wheel-drive complexity. For the GCC buyer, this is a chance to own a high-spec, modern Italian icon with a verified regional history.

This Car vs Other 2021 Giulias

At 57,000 km, this vehicle sits comfortably within the expected mileage for a five-year-old car in the GCC, where the annual average is often 20,000 km due to highway commuting. While European luxury cars typically depreciate faster in this market, the Quadrifoglio trim acts as a safeguard, retaining a premium over standard models due to its niche appeal. The Blue finish is a standout choice that remains highly desirable for resale among local Italian car enthusiasts.

QUADRIFOGLIO vs Lower Trims

The Quadrifoglio is a significant mechanical leap over the Veloce or Ti, replacing the 2.0L four-cylinder with a 505 hp Ferrari-derived V6. It adds essential GCC high-performance features like active aero front splitters, a torque-vectoring rear differential, and a dedicated Race mode. Inside, you get Sparco carbon fiber-backed seats and a premium 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system that are not standard on lower trims.

Giulia vs Segment Rivals

The Giulia Quadrifoglio leads the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63 in terms of steering purity and weight distribution, offering a more agile feel on UAE mountain roads like Jebel Jais. Its 2.9L V6 provides a more distinct, exotic engine note than its German peers. For long GCC highway drives, the Alfa provides a surprisingly compliant ride despite its track-focused performance.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.1 L/100km on the highway, though city driving in GCC traffic will see this increase. Authorized service centers are well-established across the UAE and major Saudi cities, with recommended high-performance service intervals every 10,000 km. While initial depreciation is steeper than a Toyota or Lexus, the Quadrifoglio's status as a 'halo' car typically sees values stabilize better than standard luxury sedans after the five-year mark.

Performance & Capability

With a top speed of 307 km/h, this sedan is one of the fastest four-door cars available in the region. The 8-speed automatic is tuned for lightning-fast shifts in Dynamic and Race modes, making highway overtaking effortless. The rear-wheel-drive chassis is exceptionally balanced, providing a level of driver engagement that is perfectly suited to the well-maintained highways and circuits of the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around the driver, featuring carbon fiber interior trim and leather-wrapped surfaces. Crucial for the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is robust, and this trim includes heated front and rear seats alongside a high-resolution 8.8-inch display. While focused on performance, the 480-litre boot ensures it remains a practical choice for airport runs or weekend road trips across borders.

Safety

The 2021 Quadrifoglio comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control with full-stop capability and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. It also features Forward Collision Warning and lane departure alerts. With a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, it provides world-class protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the driver who finds a BMW too common and a supercar too impractical, this GCC-spec Quadrifoglio is the perfect middle ground. It is an impeccably maintained performance machine that offers true Ferrari DNA for the price of a mid-range executive sedan.
