Summary

This 2022 RAM 1500 Limited is a prime example of why the top-tier Limited trim remains the most sought-after pickup in the GCC used market. With only 36,000 km, this 4-year-old truck has been driven significantly less than the 80,000–100,000 km typical for its age in this region. The White exterior is not only the most practical choice for the summer heat but also ensures the strongest possible resale value when you decide to trade up. For a GCC buyer, this represents the ideal balance between a luxury executive cruiser and a heavy-duty workhorse capable of cross-border highway hauls or weekend desert excursions.

This Car vs Other 2022 RAM 1500s

Compared to typical 2022 models in the UAE, this truck boasts exceptionally low mileage, having covered less than half the average annual distance expected for a GCC pickup. The White paint is a massive advantage in the local market, maintaining lower cabin temperatures and commanding higher demand at resale compared to darker tones. Choosing a GCC-spec vehicle at this mileage ensures you are getting a truck that has been correctly maintained for high-ambient temperatures and dusty conditions.

LIMITED vs Lower Trims

The Limited trim is a significant step up from the Laramie or Bighorn, adding the class-exclusive Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension for a superior ride and easier loading. Inside, it swaps standard materials for premium quilted leather, real open-pore wood accents, and the massive 12-inch vertical touchscreen. It also standardizes the 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and ventilated front seats, which are essential for staying comfortable during the peak GCC summer months.

RAM 1500 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado offer competitive towing, the RAM 1500 Limited leads the segment in cabin refinement and ride quality thanks to its unique coil-spring rear suspension. Its 125-litre fuel tank provides a greater driving range than most standard competitors, making it the preferred choice for long-distance desert highway runs. The interior materials in the Limited trim are widely regarded as superior to the Platinum or High Country equivalents, feeling more like a luxury SUV than a utility truck.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.7L HEMI V8 averages around 13.8 L/100km, though this will vary between open highway cruising and heavy stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with parts readily available at most major service centers. The RAM 1500 Limited holds its value well in the local market, typically retaining over 50% of its MSRP after five years, especially when kept in high-demand colors like White.

Performance & Capability

The 5.7L HEMI V8 delivers a verified 395 hp and 556 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11 and E311 highways. With a maximum braked towing capacity of 5,266 kg, it easily manages large boat trailers or multiple dune buggies. The selectable 4WD system and air suspension allow you to increase ground clearance at the touch of a button, ensuring you can transition from city streets to light desert trails with total confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a true executive space, featuring five seats with best-in-class rear legroom that easily accommodates three adults in the back. The Limited trim includes ventilated seats that are essential for the GCC climate, alongside a dual-pane panoramic sunroof that adds to the airy feel. Acoustic glass and active noise cancellation ensure a quiet, isolated experience even when cruising at high speeds on exposed desert roads.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Limited trim includes a 360-degree surround-view camera, which is vital for parking a full-sized truck in tight urban spaces like Dubai Marina. It features a full suite of ADAS technology, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Forward Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring with trailer detection. These systems provide an extra layer of security during long, monotonous highway drives across the Emirates.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the luxury of a flagship sedan with the towing power of a rig, this low-mileage, GCC-spec RAM 1500 Limited is the smartest buy in the current market.
