Summary

This 2-year-old Abarth 695 Turismo offers a rare blend of Italian character and GCC-ready specifications. With mileage sitting around 21,289 km, it has been driven significantly less than the typical 40,000–50,000 km expected for a car of this age in the region. The white exterior is arguably the most practical choice for the UAE, providing excellent heat reflection while ensuring the highest possible demand when it comes time to resell. In a market dominated by large SUVs, this 695 stands out as a precision-engineered enthusiast toy that remains easy to park in busy city centers. For a local buyer, the combination of low mileage and a strong resale color makes this a standout opportunity in the compact performance segment.

This Car vs Other 2024 695s

With just 21,289 km on the odometer, this car sits well below the GCC annual average of 20,000 km per year, representing roughly half the expected wear for a vehicle of this age. Its white paintwork is a significant asset in the local market, as it is the most searched-for color for both heat management and resale value retention. Buyers will find this example mechanically fresher than most high-highway-use equivalents found in the Emirates.

TURISMO vs Lower Trims

The Turismo trim elevates the 695 experience with premium leather seats and Alcantara dashboard accents, replacing the fabric found on base models. It standardizes the 17-inch Turismo alloy wheels and Koni rear suspension with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD), which provides a more sophisticated ride over the standard setup. Crucially for the GCC, it includes automatic climate control and a 7-inch Uconnect system with full smartphone integration as standard.

695 vs Segment Rivals

The Abarth 695 is often cross-shopped against the MINI Cooper S and the Volkswagen Polo GTI. While rivals may offer more interior space, the Abarth leads with its raw engine character and a significantly louder, more aggressive exhaust note that appeals to pure driving enthusiasts. Its ultra-compact footprint makes it far more maneuverable in tight Dubai and Riyadh traffic than its larger German competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 6.0L/100km, though this can rise to 10L/100km in heavy stop-start city traffic. Authorized service centers are well-established across the GCC, with major hubs like National Auto in Dubai and Petromin in Saudi Arabia providing specialized Mopar-backed support. The 695 maintains a dedicated enthusiast following in the UAE, resulting in a slower depreciation curve than generic hatchbacks, typically holding strong value at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 1.4-litre T-Jet engine delivers 180 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h. High-performance Brembo brakes with 305mm ventilated front discs ensure massive stopping power, essential for the high-speed braking scenarios common on major GCC highways. The five-speed automatic transmission includes steering-mounted paddle shifters, giving you manual control during spirited weekend drives through the Hajar Mountains.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, you are met with high-grade black leather seats and an Alcantara-wrapped instrument cluster that feels decidedly premium. The cabin is equipped with an automatic climate control system designed to handle the 45°C+ summer heat of the region. Despite its focus on performance, you get a 7-inch digital cockpit and a 6-speaker audio system that provides a comfortable environment for the daily commute between emirates.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of seven airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag, and high-performance Brembo braking hardware. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control come standard, providing vital assistance on sandy or gravel-strewn road surfaces. Rear parking sensors are included to aid visibility in a vehicle where the sporty seat design can occasionally limit the rear view.

The bottom line

Perfect for the urban enthusiast who wants a 'pocket supercar' with low mileage and the best resale color for the UAE market. This GCC-spec Turismo is a rare chance to own a nearly-new Italian icon with its full service and warranty potential intact.
