Summary

This 2024 Exeed RX Flagship represents a compelling entry into the premium SUV segment, offering a sophisticated aesthetic and high-tech interior that rivals established luxury brands. With just 37,000 km, this vehicle has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average but remains in prime mechanical condition with significant factory warranty coverage remaining. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the region, ensuring better value retention when it's time to upgrade. As a Flagship trim, it comes equipped with nearly every available feature, making it a standout choice for those who prioritize technology and comfort. For the GCC buyer, the powerful cooling system and advanced cabin insulation make it a reliable companion for both city commutes and long cross-border drives.

This Car vs Other 2024 RXs

With 37,000 km on the odometer, this RX has been actively used for approximately 18,500 km per year, which is well within the typical GCC driving profile of 20,000 to 25,000 km. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a clear advantage for future resale value. Compared to other 2024 units, this listing benefits from the full Flagship equipment list, ensuring no compromises on cabin tech or safety systems.

Flagship vs Lower Trims

The Flagship trim significantly elevates the ownership experience over the Comfort and Luxury variants by adding a premium 14-speaker Sony audio system and a sophisticated head-up display. It also includes exclusive comfort features like ventilated rear seats and a front passenger ottoman with massage functions, which are essential for long-distance comfort in the GCC heat. Furthermore, the Flagship is equipped with an expanded Level 2.5 ADAS suite, offering enhanced protection during high-speed highway travel.

RX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed RX competes directly with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander, leading with a more futuristic design and a tech-heavy cabin that feels a generation ahead. While rivals offer traditional utility, the RX prioritizes a premium atmosphere with Nappa leather and dual curved displays as standard. Its 2.0T engine delivers higher torque than many naturally aspirated competitors, making highway overtaking effortless during drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbocharged engine is optimized for efficiency, averaging approximately 7.6 L/100km on integrated routes, though stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai may see slightly higher figures. Service intervals are standard for the brand at every 10,000 km, supported by an expanding authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. While Chinese premium brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the 2024 RX is currently benefiting from high demand in the used market due to its long-term manufacturer warranty.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.0TGDI engine producing 261 hp and 400 Nm of torque, the RX achieves a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 7.6 seconds in its front-wheel-drive configuration. The Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension system adjusts to road conditions in real-time, providing a smooth ride even over uneven gravel or sand-swept asphalt. With multiple drive modes, the vehicle adapts its steering and throttle response to suit either efficient city cruising or spirited highway driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 24.6-inch curved dual-digital display, creating a cockpit that feels like a luxury private jet. GCC-specific comfort is handled by a high-output dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents and ventilated seating for both front and rear passengers. The inclusion of acoustic glass ensures the interior remains a quiet sanctuary, effectively blocking out wind noise and the intense desert heat during summer months.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus for the Flagship trim, which features a comprehensive ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Emergency Lane Keeping. For crowded urban environments, the 360-degree surround-view camera and front and rear parking sensors make maneuvering this mid-size SUV effortless. A total of eight airbags and a high-strength steel body structure provide robust protection, meeting rigorous international safety standards.

The bottom line

This 2024 Exeed RX Flagship is an ideal choice for a tech-savvy buyer looking for a near-new luxury SUV experience with the peace of mind of a long-term GCC warranty. Its high specification and popular color make it one of the most balanced opportunities currently available in the regional used market.
