Summary

This 2024 Exeed VX Flagship represents a high-spec entry into the premium SUV segment, offering a sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system and a generous seven-seat layout. Despite the mileage, the vehicle remains a compelling choice for GCC buyers who value the remaining duration of the brand’s extensive local warranty and the high-tech cabin that rivals established luxury players. The Black exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the region, ensuring better value retention when it is time to upgrade. As a Flagship trim, it comes equipped with advanced driver assistance and a massive panoramic sunroof, making it a standout for long-distance family travel. The 250 hp turbocharged engine is specifically tuned to handle the high speeds and temperature demands of GCC highways.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed VXs

While the mileage on this unit is above the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, it reflects a vehicle primarily used for long-range highway commuting, which is often less taxing on mechanical components than city stop-start traffic. The Black exterior is a strategic choice for the UAE and Saudi markets, consistently commanding higher demand and faster turnaround times in the pre-owned market. Choosing a 2024 model allows you to benefit from the latest triple-screen interior architecture and updated ADAS suite at a significant saving over a showroom-fresh unit.

Flagship vs Lower Trims

The Flagship trim is the top-tier offering, distinguishing itself from the Luxury and Comfort trims with a massive 23-speaker premium audio system and an integrated air fragrance system. It also upgrades the safety package with a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features, including Blind Spot Detection and Lane Change Assist, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. Front seat massage functions and ventilated second-row seating are exclusive Flagship touches that provide genuine relief during the intense GCC summer months.

VX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed VX competes directly with the Geely Monjaro and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, leading the group with its 2,900 mm wheelbase that provides superior legroom in the second and third rows. Its 65-litre fuel tank is optimized for long-distance cruising across the Emirates, offering a stable highway range that rivals larger naturally aspirated competitors. The interior tech, headlined by the 40.6-inch triplex display, offers a more futuristic and premium experience than many established Japanese rivals in this price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy for this AWD powertrain typically averages around 8.9 L/100km, though this varies between 6.8 L/100km on open highways and 10.9 L/100km in dense city traffic. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km at authorized Al Ghurair Motors centers in the UAE, with a growing network of service points across Saudi Arabia and Qatar ensuring regional support. While Chinese premium brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the Flagship trim’s high equipment level helps it maintain a stronger floor price in the used market.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produces a robust 400 Nm of torque, enabling a verified 0-100 km/h sprint of 9.3 seconds, which is brisk for a vehicle of this size. The BorgWarner All-Wheel Drive system automatically manages torque distribution, providing added stability during heavy rain or when navigating gravel tracks leading to weekend campsites. With a top speed of 195 km/h and a refined 8-speed automatic gearbox, it maintains low RPMs at highway speeds, enhancing cabin quietness during cross-country drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is defined by its 'Business Class' philosophy, featuring Nappa leather spa-massage seats with 8-way electronic adjustment for the driver. To combat the GCC heat, the vehicle features a powerful three-zone climate control system with dedicated vents reaching all the way to the third row. The massive 1360 x 870 mm panoramic sunroof includes a high-quality sunblind to manage thermal load, while acoustic glass helps isolate passengers from external road noise.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus for the Flagship trim, which is equipped with 10 airbags as standard, providing comprehensive protection for all three rows. The 540° panoramic camera system, which includes a 'transparent chassis' view, is incredibly useful for parking in tight city spaces or avoiding obstacles on unpaved roads. Active safety features like Automatic Emergency Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert provide a vital safety net in the unpredictable traffic conditions common in major GCC hubs.

The bottom line

For the family buyer who wants flagship luxury and cutting-edge technology without the European price tag, this high-spec 2024 VX is a smart regional play. It offers the most sought-after color and trim combination in the GCC, backed by a robust service network and advanced safety features.
