Summary

This 2024 Geely Tugella GF offers a near-new ownership experience with a mileage of just 21,663 km, well below the annual GCC average of 25,000 km. Finished in white, the most desirable resale color in the region, it effectively reflects the intense summer heat while ensuring maximum liquidity in the used market. The GF trim provides a significant technology leap over base models, positioning it as a premium coupe-SUV that competes directly with established European luxury crossovers. For the GCC buyer, this represents a smart way to acquire a flagship-trim vehicle that has already cleared its steepest depreciation curve while retaining full mechanical freshness.

This Car vs Other 2024 Geely Tugellas

With just 21,663 km on the odometer, this Tugella is a low-mileage example compared to typical 2024 models in the UAE, which often reach 30,000 km or more in their first year. The white exterior is the top-performing color for resale in the local market, making it a safer financial asset than darker or niche shades. Choosing a GCC-spec 2024 model ensures you are getting the most updated software and cabin materials currently available in the pre-owned segment.

GF vs Lower Trims

The GF trim is the flagship of the range, adding essential luxury features that the base GL trim lacks, most notably ventilated front seats which are vital for GCC summers. It also upgrades the tech suite to include a high-definition 360-degree camera system and a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system. These high-spec features are exactly what second-hand buyers in this region look for, helping this specific car maintain a higher premium over lower-tier versions.

Geely Tugella vs Segment Rivals

The Tugella competes against the MG RX5 and the Mazda CX-5, but leads both in sheer performance with its 238 hp output and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds. Its sleek fastback roofline offers a distinct aesthetic advantage over more traditional boxy SUVs in the same price bracket. Additionally, the Tugella's cabin tech—including the 12.3-inch digital cockpit—is often rated as more modern and intuitive than its closest Japanese rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0L turbo engine averages around 7.8 L/100km on highways, though GCC city traffic may push this higher. Geely has established a robust authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, typically requiring service every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands generally see higher initial depreciation than Japanese mainstays, the Tugella's strong popularity in the UAE market means it retains value better than most in its class. Resale is further protected by the GCC spec, which ensures full service and warranty compatibility at local dealerships.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a BorgWarner-designed system, the Tugella delivers power smoothly and confidently. The 350 Nm of torque provides plenty of punch for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11 between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While this specific unit is front-wheel drive, its 204 mm ground clearance and selectable drive modes make it highly capable for weekend drives to the beach or gravel-track escapes. It reaches a verified top speed of 210 km/h, showcasing its stability during long-distance travel.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a high-tech environment featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a panoramic sunroof that opens up the cabin to the light. The ventilated seats are a game-changer for summer comfort, paired with a multi-zone climate control system that has dedicated rear vents. Despite the sporty coupe roofline, the rear row offers impressive legroom for three adult passengers. Insulation is specifically designed to minimize external road noise, providing a quiet and refined experience during long cross-emirate commutes.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the GF trim, which comes standard with a full suite of ADAS technology including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist. The 360-degree camera provides a bird’s-eye view, making tight parking maneuvers in shopping malls entirely stress-free. Additional systems like Blind Spot Detection and Rear Collision Warning provide extra security during high-speed highway driving. The car is also equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and ISOFIX mounts, ensuring it meets the highest standards for family protection.

The bottom line

For the UAE professional seeking a high-tech, performance-oriented SUV without the European luxury price tag, this low-mileage 2024 Tugella GF in resale-friendly white is the definitive choice.
