Summary

This 2024 Infiniti QX50 LUXE is an exceptionally strong buy, presenting as a two-year-old vehicle with remarkably low mileage for the GCC market. Its White exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the region, ensuring better value retention and heat reflection during peak summer months. In a segment often dominated by standard configurations, this LUXE trim bridges the gap between daily practicality and high-end executive features. For the local buyer, the combination of Japanese engineering reliability and the specific GCC-spec cooling systems makes this a worry-free choice for both city commutes and long-distance travel between Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2024 QX50s

With just 8,820 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the average GCC annual usage of 20,000 km. This ultra-low mileage essentially offers a near-new mechanical life, providing a distinct advantage over other 2024 models typically found on the market. The White paintwork is the ideal choice for the UAE climate, as it maintains a cooler cabin temperature and is historically the easiest color to trade in or resell.

LUXE vs Lower Trims

Moving up to the LUXE trim adds essential GCC comforts that the base PURE trim lacks, most notably the panoramic moonroof and genuine leather-appointed seating. You also benefit from the Around View Monitor, a 360-degree camera system that is indispensable for navigating tight parking spots in Dubai or Abu Dhabi mall garages. Additional tech like the auto-dimming mirrors and enhanced safety suites make the LUXE a much more complete executive package.

QX50 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Lexus NX and Cadillac XT5, the QX50 stands out with its class-leading cargo versatility and sliding/reclining rear seats, offering more legroom for family road trips. The variable compression engine is designed to balance performance for highway overtaking with efficiency in stop-start traffic. Its dual-screen infotainment setup provides a dedicated navigation display while keeping media controls accessible, a layout many GCC drivers find more intuitive than single-screen systems.

Running Costs & Resale

The QX50 is engineered for the region's premium fuel, delivering a combined efficiency of roughly 9.7 L/100km, which remains competitive for a luxury crossover. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it is supported by a robust authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region, ensuring easy access to parts and specialized technicians. Japanese luxury brands like Infiniti typically experience a depreciation rate of 10-12% annually in the GCC, performing better than many European counterparts.

Performance & Capability

The powertrain produces 268 hp, providing smooth and linear acceleration that is perfectly suited for merging onto fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The Drive Mode Selector allows you to toggle between Sport for a sharper throttle response and Eco for city driving, maximizing fuel range from the 60-litre tank. While this is a front-wheel-drive crossover focused on road comfort, its 218 mm ground clearance is more than enough to handle gravel tracks or sandy residential patches with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the heat, featuring a dual-zone automatic climate control system with dedicated rear vents to keep all passengers cool. High-quality materials and acoustic glass help isolate the interior from road noise, providing a quiet environment for the standard premium audio system. The seating configuration is designed for four adults to travel in long-distance comfort, supported by power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support for the driver.

Safety

This LUXE trim is equipped with a comprehensive suite of ADAS technologies including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which can monitor two vehicles ahead, and Blind Spot Intervention. These systems are particularly valuable on high-speed regional highways, providing an extra layer of protection during lane changes. Additionally, Rear Automatic Braking and Lane Departure Warning come standard, ensuring peace of mind in both congested urban environments and on long desert stretches.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a near-new luxury SUV without the first-year depreciation hit, this low-mileage QX50 LUXE is the perfect balance of prestige, GCC-ready features, and long-term resale security.
