Summary

This 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing represents the pinnacle of American performance engineering, offering a rare opportunity to own a world-class super-sedan with exceptionally low mileage. In the GCC market, the Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains strong desirability and resale appeal compared to standard monochrome options. As a 1-year-old vehicle, it has barely cleared its initial break-in period, saving the next owner from the steepest part of the depreciation curve while remaining under a near-total factory warranty. For the GCC buyer, this model offers an unmatched blend of track-ready dynamics and the refined cabin cooling necessary for the region's climate. It stands out by delivering more raw engagement and power than its German rivals, making it a definitive choice for enthusiasts who value character and performance.

This Car vs Other 2025 CT5s

With just 17,832 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, marking it as a high-quality example in the local used market. The Blue paintwork is a standout feature in a region dominated by white and silver, providing a unique aesthetic that specifically strengthens its appeal among enthusiast buyers. Its condition reflects a car that has been carefully maintained during its first year of operation, offering a 'like-new' experience with a proven regional service history.

V-SERIES BLACKWING vs Lower Trims

The Blackwing is a significant mechanical departure from the standard CT5-V, replacing the 3.0L V6 with a hand-built 6.2L supercharged V8 and adding high-performance hardware. It features upgraded Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 tuned for the track, and an AKG 16-speaker premium audio system as standard. GCC-essential luxuries like ventilated front seats and a massive 33-inch diagonal LED display are standard here, providing the tech-heavy interior that local buyers expect.

CT5 vs Segment Rivals

The CT5-V Blackwing is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG E63, leading the segment in raw horsepower and engaging driving dynamics. Its Magnetic Ride Control is widely regarded as the fastest-reacting suspension system in the world, specifically helping the car handle the transitions between smooth UAE highways and more textured surfaces. Additionally, the Cadillac offers a more intuitive infotainment setup and superior seat cooling performance, which is a critical differentiator during GCC summers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the supercharged V8 averages approximately 15.7 L/100km, with highway driving providing better efficiency during long-distance trips across the Emirates. Cadillac maintains a robust authorized service network throughout the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and specialist technicians are readily available. As a GCC-spec Blackwing, this vehicle retains value significantly better than non-regional imports, generally seeing about 12-15% annual depreciation compared to higher rates for European performance sedans.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is the hand-built 6.2L V8 delivering 668 horsepower, capable of a 3.6-second sprint to 100 km/h. On the open highways of the GCC, the car feels endlessly powerful, offering effortless overtaking and a top speed of 322 km/h on closed circuits. While primarily a rear-biased driver's car, its sophisticated traction management systems make it approachable for daily commutes through city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is designed for high-speed luxury, featuring high-performance front bucket seats with heating and ventilation standard. The 33-inch curved LED display provides a futuristic cockpit feel, while the dual-zone climate control is specifically engineered to combat extreme desert heat. Acoustic laminated glass and high-end materials ensure the cabin remains a quiet sanctuary even at high cruising speeds common on GCC inter-city routes.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and a 360-degree HD Surround Vision camera which is invaluable for parking in tight urban spaces. The Blind Zone Steering Assist is particularly useful for fast-moving highway traffic, while the safety alert seat provides haptic feedback to the driver. These systems ensure that despite its massive power, the Blackwing remains one of the safest performance sedans available.

The bottom line

For the GCC enthusiast seeking a 1-year-old supercar in a sedan body, this low-mileage Blackwing offers a rare combination of raw V8 power, regional peace of mind, and a striking color profile.
