Summary

This 2025 LS Auto Lev01 SE is a fresh entry into the UAE’s electric SUV market, offering a modern white exterior that consistently leads as a top resale color in the GCC. Developed by Shanghai Launch Automotive, the company behind designs for major brands like BYD and Ford, this crossover brings professional engineering to the compact segment. As a brand-new 2025 model year with zero mileage, it offers a logical and high-value transition to electric mobility for families and city commuters alike. The single-motor front-wheel-drive setup is perfectly balanced for UAE highway speeds and efficient daily urban use.

This Car vs Other 2025 Lev01s

With zero specified kilometers, this 2025 model offers the full longevity of its modern LFP battery architecture. In the GCC market, where yearly mileage often exceeds 25,000 km, starting with a brand-new vehicle is a significant ownership advantage. The white exterior is the most practical choice for reflecting intense Gulf heat while ensuring the highest possible liquidity and value at the time of resale.

SE vs Lower Trims

The SE trim serves as the highly capable entry point for the Lev01 in the UAE, coming standard with essential GCC-ready features like a 12.8-inch central display and integrated smartphone mirroring. While the higher CE trim adds specific luxuries like a panoramic moonroof and smart tailgate, the SE retains the exact same 204 hp powertrain and long-range battery, offering identical performance at a more accessible price point. It includes critical local tech like a 360-degree camera and rear parking sensors as standard.

Lev01 vs Segment Rivals

The Lev01 is frequently cross-shopped with the BYD Atto 3 and the Geely EX5 in the competitive compact electric SUV segment. It leads many rivals with a generous 450-litre boot that expands to 1,600 litres, providing more practical family cargo space than typical electric hatchbacks. Its 2,760 mm wheelbase is specifically designed to offer superior rear legroom, making it more comfortable for family road trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world driving in the UAE's stop-start traffic allows the Lev01 to excel due to its regenerative braking, while highway range remains stable for long-distance commutes. Maintenance is simplified through the official distributor, DSP Motors, which provides a comprehensive 5-year or 150,000 km manufacturer warranty, with the battery covered for 8 years. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it enjoys full support for software updates and genuine parts, which are critical factors for maintaining strong value retention in the local used market.

Performance & Capability

With 204 hp and 320 Nm of instant torque, the Lev01 provides punchy and silent acceleration that makes merging onto fast UAE highways effortless. The 0–100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds is notably quicker than many petrol-powered crossovers in its class. For weekend excursions, the 160 mm ground clearance and multi-link rear suspension ensure a stable and comfortable ride over varied urban surfaces and speed bumps.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is built for the GCC climate, featuring a clean, minimalist design with a flat rear floor that comfortably accommodates three adults. Standard equipment includes a digital cockpit and dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents to ensure rapid cooling during the summer months. Synthetic leather seats and premium soft-touch materials create a refined atmosphere that remains easy to clean after family trips.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems, including multiple airbags and a 360-degree camera system for tight parking maneuvers. Standard driver assistance includes Cruise Control and Hill-Hold Assist, which are particularly helpful during long highway drives and in busy multi-story parking structures. The high-strength steel chassis is engineered to meet global standards, providing peace of mind for daily family transportation.

The bottom line

This 2025 LS Auto Lev01 SE is the ideal choice for a UAE family or professional looking for a brand-new, long-range electric SUV with the security of a full manufacturer warranty and official GCC support.
