Summary

This 2025 Maextro S800 Starshine Executive Edition is a rare opportunity to own one of the most technologically advanced luxury sedans currently available in the global market. As a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), it perfectly solves range anxiety for long-distance GCC commutes while delivering a staggering 825 hp for effortless performance. The Starshine trim stands out with its 'Starry Sky' lighting signature and a four-seat layout designed to rival the world's most established ultra-luxury marques. With just 5,000 km, this near-new flagship offers a unique combination of Huawei-powered smart tech and executive comfort that is becoming a serious disruptor in the GCC luxury segment. For those seeking an alternative to traditional German luxury, this S800 provides unmatched cabin silence and digital integration.

This Car vs Other 2025 Maextro S800s

With only 5,000 km on the odometer, this S800 is effectively in showroom condition, significantly under the typical first-year mileage seen on luxury cruisers in the UAE. The Beige exterior is a neutral and heat-efficient choice for the region, aiding in resale stability compared to darker, heat-absorbing tones. This specific car represents one of the first few units available in the secondary market, offering immediate delivery on a model that often faces waiting lists.

STARSHINE EXECUTIVE EDITION vs Lower Trims

The Starshine Executive Edition is the pinnacle of the S800 lineup, upgrading the cabin to a dedicated 4-seat configuration with dual zero-gravity rear loungers. Unlike lower 5-seat trims, this version features a full-length center console with a built-in refrigerator, champagne holders, and independent touchscreen controls for rear passengers. It also includes the 'Starry Sky' interactive headliner and a 43-speaker Huawei Sound Ultimate system that provides a 3D acoustic experience standard trims cannot match.

Maextro S800 vs Segment Rivals

The S800 competes directly with the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, but differentiates itself with its 1,333 km total range (CLTC) and superior digital cockpit. While traditional rivals rely on internal combustion or standard PHEV setups, the S800's REEV platform offers a much larger electric-only buffer and a smoother, motor-driven feel at all speeds. Its 3,370 mm wheelbase ensures rear legroom that exceeds even the long-wheelbase versions of its European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

As a REEV, the S800 uses its 1.5L engine solely as a generator, leading to exceptional efficiency in Dubai's stop-start traffic where it operates mostly as an EV. For long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, the 50L fuel tank and 65 kWh battery provide a massive range, reducing the frequency of refueling stops. While Chinese ultra-luxury brands are newer to the region, the high integration of Huawei technology and JAC's manufacturing scale support a predictable maintenance path. Parts availability is growing through specialized luxury importers across the GCC.

Performance & Capability

The S800 produces a verified 825 hp from its tri-motor AWD setup, enabling this massive 5.4-meter sedan to hit 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The Tuling Longxing platform includes a predictive air suspension that scans the road surface ahead, providing a 'magic carpet' ride across varying GCC terrains. It also features rear-wheel steering with an angle of up to 12 degrees, giving this flagship the turning circle of a much smaller vehicle for easier urban maneuvering.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of 'Heaven, Earth, and Human Harmony' design, featuring hypoallergenic natural leather and a negative ion air purification system designed for desert climates. Rear passengers enjoy zero-gravity seats with 14-way electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and a professional-grade massage function. A 76-inch augmented reality head-up display and a panoramic 'starlight' ceiling create an immersive atmosphere that transitions seamlessly from an office on wheels to a private lounge.

Safety

The S800 is equipped with the Huawei ADS 4.0 suite, one of the most advanced autonomous driving platforms in the world, featuring triple LiDAR sensors for 360-degree environmental perception. Standard safety highlights include high-speed active emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring for multi-lane highways, and a reinforced battery cage with 2000MPa hot-formed steel. The Gemini redundant safety design ensures that critical systems like steering and braking have electrical backups for maximum reliability at high speeds.

The bottom line

This S800 is for the forward-thinking executive who values cutting-edge digital luxury and immense range over traditional badges, offering a rare chance to skip the wait for Huawei's most prestigious flagship.
