Summary

This MG GT Luxury is a compelling find for buyers seeking a high-spec sedan with remarkably low mileage for its age in the GCC market. As the top-tier trim, it offers premium features like a 360-degree camera and a sunroof that are typically reserved for much more expensive executive cars. Its white exterior is a strategic choice for the UAE, providing excellent heat reflection and ensuring strong resale demand when it comes time to upgrade. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine strikes a perfect balance between spirited highway overtaking and city efficiency. For any driver prioritizing modern tech and a sporty fastback silhouette without the premium brand price tag, this listing represents a sharp, value-forward opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2025 MG GTs

At just over 24,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 25,000 km annual average for GCC-based cars of this age. This low usage is a distinct buying advantage, suggesting less wear on the suspension and interior despite its daily-driver capability. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, offering superior heat management and a faster turnaround at resale compared to darker tones.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim adds essential high-end tech that the STD and COM models lack, most notably a 360-degree HD camera system and a full digital instrument cluster. You also benefit from a 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat and additional safety layers like Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning. These features are highly valued in the GCC for making long-distance highway travel safer and easier.

GT vs Segment Rivals

The MG GT leads rivals like the Honda City and Toyota Corolla in pure performance, offering a turbocharged 173 hp engine where many competitors still rely on naturally aspirated units. Its 401-liter boot space and fastback opening make it a more versatile hauler for weekend trips than traditional sedans in this class. Additionally, the cabin tech and digital interface feel a generation ahead of standard Japanese entry-level models.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is impressive, averaging approximately 5.9 L/100km on long highway stretches like the E11, though stop-start city traffic may see this rise slightly to 7.5 L/100km. MG has an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and the wider GCC, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While European brands depreciate faster, this GCC-spec MG GT holds roughly 65-70% of its value over three years, making it a predictable investment.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 173 hp and 250 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 8.5 seconds. This performance is particularly noticeable when merging into fast-moving highway traffic or overtaking between emirates. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures gear changes are smooth and responsive, while the 145 mm ground clearance handles urban speed bumps comfortably.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a fighter-jet-inspired design with supportive sports seats that remain comfortable during long commutes in high temperatures. The automatic climate control system is specifically calibrated for the GCC, ensuring rapid cooling even during the peak of summer. Passengers enjoy ample legroom, while the 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto serves as the central hub for all entertainment and navigation needs.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on this Luxury trim, featuring six airbags and a robust suite of active assists. Standard systems include Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning, all of which are invaluable for the high-speed multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. Electronic Stability Control and Hill Start Assist provide additional peace of mind across varying road surfaces.

The bottom line

This is an ideal choice for a young professional or a small family looking for a high-spec, GCC-spec sedan that still feels new. With its top-tier Luxury features and significantly below-average mileage, it offers a premium driving experience at a much more accessible price point than its rivals.
