Summary

This 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T is a rare find in the GCC market, offering the only manual transmission available in the current Carrera lineup. With only 21,316 km on the clock, this one-year-old coupe has been driven sparingly relative to typical regional averages, preserving its mechanical tightness and collector appeal. The Carrera T is purposefully engineered for purists, featuring lightweight glass and reduced sound deadening to better hear the iconic flat-six soundtrack. In the Gulf, where high-spec automatics dominate, a manual 'Touring' model in a timeless grey holds significant value for enthusiasts who prioritize driver engagement. This GCC-spec example is perfectly equipped to handle the local climate while offering a level of tactile connection that rivals like the AMG GT cannot match.

This Car vs Other 2025 911s

With 21,316 km, this vehicle sits slightly below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, representing a well-maintained example that has likely spent most of its time on UAE highways. The grey exterior is a highly liquid resale choice in the region, second only to white and black in terms of market demand. As a one-year-old vehicle, it offers the updated tech of the latest generation while avoiding the initial showroom premium.

CARRERA T vs Lower Trims

The Carrera T is a significant step up for enthusiasts, replacing the standard PDK automatic with a precise six-speed manual gearbox. It adds performance hardware that is optional on the base trim, including PASM Sport suspension with a 10mm lower ride height, rear-axle steering, and a mechanical rear differential lock. To save weight, it also features thinner glass and a standard rear-seat delete, though many regional examples retain the seats as a no-cost option.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Mercedes-AMG GT and the Maserati GranTurismo, the 911 Carrera T leads with its lightweight philosophy and the availability of a manual transmission. Its rear-engine layout provides superior traction when exiting corners, and its smaller footprint makes it much easier to maneuver in dense Dubai or Riyadh traffic. While rivals often lean into grand touring luxury, the Porsche remains the focused choice for the driving enthusiast.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L flat-six averages around 11.5 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic during peak summer. Service intervals are required every 15,000 km or 12 months at authorized Porsche centers, which are well-established across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The Carrera T specifically benefits from strong value retention due to its niche manual status, often depreciating at a slower rate than the standard Carrera in the GCC used market.

Performance & Capability

The Carrera T delivers a top speed of 295 km/h, making it a formidable highway performer on the long stretches between emirates. The 388 hp output is delivered with linear precision, and the six-speed manual features an auto-blip rev-matching function for perfectly smooth downshifts. Standard rear-axle steering significantly improves high-speed stability on highway curves and tightens the turning circle for easier urban parking.

Comfort & Cabin

Despite its lightweight focus, the cabin remains a premium space with a 10.9-inch touchscreen and a high-resolution digital instrument cluster. The air conditioning is specifically calibrated for high-ambient temperatures, ensuring rapid cooling even after the car has been parked in the sun. The interior features Sport Seats Plus for excellent lateral support, and the reduced insulation allows for a more visceral mechanical connection to the engine.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Warn and Brake Assist, which monitors the distance to the vehicle ahead, and Lane Keep Assist to aid on long highway drives. The 911 also features a robust suite of six airbags and Porsche Stability Management (PSM), which is essential for maintaining control on sand-dusted road surfaces. Front and rear parking sensors with a high-definition reversing camera are standard to assist with visibility in tight spaces.

The bottom line

For the purist buyer in the GCC, this 2025 Carrera T is the definitive choice, offering a manual driving experience that is becoming increasingly extinct in the modern sports car landscape.
