Summary

This 2025 Seres 5 Premium represents a sophisticated entry into the UAE's high-performance electric SUV market, finished in a resale-friendly Beige that resists the intensity of the Gulf sun. As a current-year model with the top-tier dual-motor configuration, it offers a distinct alternative to mainstream electric rivals by blending luxury-grade cabin materials with supercar-level acceleration. The Premium trim ensures every modern convenience is standard, from high-fidelity audio to multi-zone climate control. For the GCC buyer, this is a compelling opportunity to own a near-new EV that balances daily practical range with a premium, tech-forward driving environment. Its combination of all-wheel-drive stability and advanced battery management makes it particularly well-suited for the modern highway infrastructure of the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2025 Seres 5s

As a 2025 model, this vehicle features the most updated battery management software and interior refinements available for the current generation. While most Seres 5 units in the GCC market are effectively new or very low mileage, choosing this Premium AWD version ensures you have the higher-capacity performance hardware that retains value better than the entry-level RWD variants. The Beige exterior is an excellent choice for the UAE climate, as it maintains a cooler cabin temperature and shows significantly less dust than darker shades.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly elevates the experience over the Standard RWD model by adding a second electric motor on the front axle, nearly doubling the available horsepower. Beyond the power increase, this trim typically adds high-end cabin features that GCC buyers value, including Nappa leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation and massage functions, and a premium 11-speaker audio system. You also benefit from a larger 15.6-inch 2K multimedia screen and a comprehensive 360-degree panoramic parking suite that simplifies city driving.

Seres 5 vs Segment Rivals

The Seres 5 competes directly with the Tesla Model Y and the Ford Mustang Mach-E, distinguishing itself with a more traditional luxury-oriented interior rather than a minimalist layout. While rivals focus on software ecosystem, the Seres leads in providing tactile premium materials and specialized comfort features like built-in seat massage standard on the Premium trim. Its 940 Nm torque figure provides a more aggressive off-the-line response than many comparable European electric crossovers in this price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs for this electric SUV are substantially lower than petrol-powered luxury crossovers, with maintenance primarily limited to tires, brakes, and cabin filters. The 80 kWh LFP battery is designed for durability in high-temperature environments, benefiting from an active liquid cooling system essential for GCC summers. Seres has established a dedicated presence in the UAE via Green Motors, with service centers on Sheikh Zayed Road and in Abu Dhabi, ensuring reliable local support. While still a newer brand in the region, the high-specification AWD models are showing stable demand in the pre-owned market.

Performance & Capability

Performance is the defining characteristic of this Premium AWD model, delivering 430 kW (585 hp) and a massive 940 Nm of torque for instantaneous overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in just 4.2 seconds, placing it in the territory of high-performance sports cars while maintaining the utility of a 5-seat SUV. Four driving modes—Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Individual—allow you to tailor the dual-motor response to city traffic or open-road cruising. The sophisticated double-wishbone front suspension ensures the car remains composed and agile despite its electric battery weight.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary designed for long-distance GCC road trips, featuring ventilated Nappa leather seats that are critical for maintaining comfort during the summer months. A massive panoramic canopy floods the interior with light, while the acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from highway wind noise. The dual-zone automatic climate control is robustly engineered for regional heat, supported by rear-seat vents to keep all passengers cool. Technology is central to the experience, headlined by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central display with integrated CarPlay.

Safety

This Premium trim is equipped with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as standard, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Automated Parking Assist (APA). The vehicle features six airbags and a 360-degree high-definition camera system that provides essential visibility during tight maneuvers in urban parking environments. Standard safety tech also includes Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are invaluable for navigating the fast-paced multi-lane highways between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The bottom line

This 2025 Seres 5 Premium is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy buyer who refuses to choose between supercar performance and SUV practicality. With its GCC-ready cooling and high-luxury trim, it represents a smart, high-value alternative to the established electric luxury players.
