Summary

This 2026 BMW X5 M60i LUXURY represents a rare opportunity to own a near-delivery flagship SUV with only 500 km on the clock. Finished in a high-resale Grey, it perfectly balances a refined executive presence with the explosive 530 hp V8 performance that defines the M60i trim. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is purpose-built to handle the region's climate while offering significantly better value retention than imported alternatives. For the buyer who wants the latest BMW technology and powertrain without the wait for a new order, this listing is a standout choice in the current market.

This Car vs Other 2026 X5s

With only 500 km, this X5 is effectively in new-car condition, sitting far below the average annual GCC mileage of 20,000 km. The Grey exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better price stability compared to brighter hues. Buying this low-mileage 2026 model allows you to bypass initial depreciation while maintaining a virtually full factory warranty and service life.

M60i LUXURY vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the M60i replaces the 6-cylinder engine with a formidable 4.4L V8, while adding essential GCC luxuries like ventilated seats and the 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system as standard. This trim also features the M Sport differential and Adaptive M Suspension, providing a level of handling precision and high-speed stability that lower trims cannot match. The Luxury package further enhances the cabin with multi-contour seats and premium materials that hold up better under intense summer heat.

X5 vs Segment Rivals

The X5 leads its class with a generous 83-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance highway drives between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh compared to the smaller tanks found in the Porsche Cayenne. Its iDrive 8.5 Curved Display offers a more intuitive interface than the Mercedes-Benz GLE, while the 530 hp V8 delivers a more engaging driving character than the Audi Q7. For the GCC buyer, the X5 offers a perfect middle ground between outright sports performance and daily family utility.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.4L V8 features 48V mild-hybrid technology to optimize efficiency, resulting in a combined fuel consumption of approximately 12.5 L/100km under WLTP standards. BMW’s Condition Based Service (CBS) typically mandates intervals every 12,000 to 15,000 km, with a comprehensive authorized service network available across all major GCC cities. In the local market, GCC-spec X5s retain their value exceptionally well, typically seeing a depreciation of 15-18% in the first year, which is significantly lower than non-regional imports.

Performance & Capability

The M60i is a true performance heavyweight, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds thanks to 750 Nm of torque and standard xDrive all-wheel drive. This power is particularly useful for effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways like the E11, where the V8 remains composed even at sustained speeds. While optimized for the road, the adjustable drive modes and high torque output make it more than capable for light gravel tracks and weekend desert excursions.

Comfort & Cabin

Designed for the GCC climate, the cabin features high-output multi-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool during the summer. The M60i Luxury trim includes ventilated front seats and acoustic glazing, significantly reducing exterior heat soak and road noise for a serene driving experience. The 650-litre boot provides ample space for family road trips, easily expandable to 1,870 litres for larger cargo needs.

Safety

The 2026 X5 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Keeping Assistant, which are invaluable for navigating multi-lane city traffic. Standard Forward Collision Mitigation and a high-resolution 360° camera system provide peace of mind in tight parking environments. BMW's xDrive system continuously monitors traction, ensuring maximum stability on sandy or rain-slicked surfaces across the region.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a luxury buyer to secure a 2026 flagship V8 in 'as-new' condition, benefiting from GCC-specific durability and strong future resale value.
