Summary

This 2026 Autograph represents the pinnacle of the all-new QX80 generation, offering a massive leap in refinement over previous V8 models with its potent 450 hp twin-turbo V6. As a Canadian-spec vehicle, it provides a high-value entry into the current-year flagship market, though buyers should note the differences in regional cooling compared to GCC-specific builds. The Autograph trim is distinguished by its exclusive two-tone roof and superior cabin materials, making it a standout choice for those who want the most luxurious seven-seat configuration available. With effectively zero mileage on this new-generation platform, it’s a compelling alternative to a brand-new showroom order for a buyer who values immediate availability and top-tier luxury features.

This Car vs Other 2026 QX80s

This vehicle represents the launch year of the redesigned QX80, meaning it features the latest VR35DDTT engine and Klipsch audio technology found in any 2026 model. Being a Canadian import, it typically offers a lower entry price than local dealer-sourced units, though it retains the same structural 8,500-lb towing capability. The mileage is at a minimum for the model year, offering the benefit of a fresh drivetrain and pristine interior compared to average daily-driven SUVs.

AUTOGRAPH CAPTAIN CHAIRS vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim adds significant luxury over the Luxe and Sport, including dot-quilted semi-aniline leather across all rows and massaging seats for both the driver and second-row passengers. It is the only trim to feature Biometric Cooling, which uses infrared sensors to detect passenger temperature and adjust individual airflow automatically. Furthermore, you gain ProPILOT Assist 2.1 for hands-off highway driving and a unique two-tone exterior finish not available on lower grades.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

The QX80 leads many rivals, such as the BMW X7 and Lexus LX, in sheer cargo flexibility, offering up to 2,860 litres of total storage with seats folded flat. Its 3.5L twin-turbo engine produces 516 lb-ft of torque, providing more low-end pulling power than the Cadillac Escalade's standard V8 for heavy towing tasks. The 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere system also offers a higher speaker count and more individual audio zones than most competitors in the full-size luxury segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this twin-turbo V6 averages approximately 13.8 L/100km combined, with highway cruising dropping closer to 12.3 L/100km. As a Canadian spec car in the GCC, it may face slightly higher depreciation than a local Al Masaood or Arabian Automobiles unit due to the absence of the official regional warranty. However, its status as the desirable top-trim Autograph helps buoy resale value, and parts are widely shared with the new Nissan Patrol, ensuring strong serviceability across the UAE.

Performance & Capability

With a 0-100 km/h time of just 6.1 seconds, this full-size SUV offers surprising agility for its weight, powered by a 450 hp 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6. The standard All-Mode 4WD system and Electronic Air Suspension allow for variable ground clearance, making it highly capable for both highway stability and weekend desert transitions. It maintains a class-competitive towing capacity of 3,855 kg (8,500 lbs), supported by a dedicated 'Tow' mode that optimizes the 9-speed automatic transmission's shift points.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured with second-row captain chairs, providing a more executive environment and easier access to the third row. In the GCC summer, you will appreciate the ventilated first and second-row seats, complemented by the advanced Biometric Cooling system that targets heat spots in the cabin. The Autograph trim’s open-pore wood accents and quilted leather surfaces create a serene environment, while the 14.3-inch dual-display cockpit keeps all vehicle data clearly visible even in direct sunlight.

Safety

This QX80 is equipped with the full suite of Infiniti safety technologies, including the 3D Around View Monitor with 'Invisible Hood View' for precise maneuvering in tight urban spaces. Standard features include Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Blind Spot Intervention, and Rear Automatic Braking. The Autograph’s ProPILOT Assist 2.1 system adds an extra layer of safety for long-distance desert highway drives by providing hands-on-wheel reminders and lane-centering assistance.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the flagship luxury of the all-new QX80 Autograph without the showroom wait, this Canadian-spec 2026 model offers an exceptional balance of tech, comfort, and immediate prestige.
