Summary

This GCC-spec Land Cruiser represents the sweet spot for regional buyers, pairing the ultra-reliable 4.7L V8 with a white exterior that offers the strongest resale protection in the market. With 142,000 km on the clock, this example is significantly below the typical GCC annual mileage average, making it a rare long-term durability play. As a GXR trim, it bridges the gap between rugged utility and family comfort, featuring the essential cooling upgrades required for the heat. The 200-series chassis remains the gold standard for desert capability and cross-border travel across the Emirates. For an owner seeking legendary Toyota longevity without the depreciation curve of a newer model, this listing is a standout choice.

This Car vs Other 2010 Land Cruisers

While many 2010 models in the region have exceeded 250,000 km due to long-distance commuting, this example’s 142,000 km is notably low for its age. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the GCC used market, ensuring faster liquidly and higher value retention than darker shades. Being a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, it features the high-capacity cooling systems and air filtration necessary for local environmental conditions.

GXR vs Lower Trims

The GXR trim provides significant upgrades over the entry-level GX, most notably the inclusion of the center console cool box and a premium 6-disc CD changer audio system. It replaces the basic steel wheels of the lower trims with 17-inch alloys and adds essential convenience features like front and rear parking sensors and cruise control. These additions make the GXR far more suitable for family duties and long highway drives between cities.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol of the same era, the Land Cruiser leads in historical resale value and the sheer density of the Toyota service network across the entire GCC. While rivals may offer different tech, the Land Cruiser’s 93-litre fuel tank provides superior range for desert expeditions and long-haul highway travel. Its body-on-frame construction is widely regarded as the most durable platform for handling extreme heat and rough terrain simultaneously.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.7L V8 is engineered for longevity, with real-world fuel consumption averaging approximately 14.5 to 16.3 L/100km depending on city traffic or highway cruising. Maintenance is straightforward, with 10,000 km service intervals supported by an unmatched parts availability across all seven Emirates and neighboring GCC states. This model retains value exceptionally well, typically depreciating at a much slower rate than European luxury SUVs in the same segment.

Performance & Capability

The 271 hp V8 provides smooth, linear power delivery that is ideal for maintaining momentum in deep sand or overtaking on the E11 highway. The hardware-based 4WD system includes a dedicated low-range transfer case and a locking Torsen center differential, providing genuine mechanical capability that modern crossovers cannot match. With a ground clearance of approximately 225 mm, it is factory-ready for weekend desert camping and off-road exploration.

Comfort & Cabin

The 8-seat configuration features a versatile layout with a genuinely usable third row that folds away to expand cargo space. The GCC-specific dual-zone climate control system is famously powerful, utilizing rear-seat vents to ensure all passengers remain cool during peak summer temperatures. Cabin insulation is tuned to filter out road noise and wind hiss, maintaining a quiet environment even at highway speeds.

Safety

This trim includes essential safety systems such as ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist for emergency stops. Dual front airbags are standard, while the vehicle stability control system helps maintain traction on loose sand or rain-slicked asphalt. The high seating position and large glass house provide excellent natural visibility, which is complemented by the factory-fitted parking sonar system.

The bottom line

For the buyer who prioritizes mechanical mechanical reliability and high resale value above all else, this low-mileage GXR is the definitive GCC workhorse.
