Summary

This 11-year-old Aston Martin DB9 represents the final evolution of the original iconic grand tourer, finished in a timeless Black that remains the most sought-after resale color in the UAE. With mileage significantly below the GCC annual average, this example has been preserved as a weekend statement rather than a daily commuter. Unlike its turbocharged successors, this model offers the raw, mechanical purity of a 6.0-liter V12 that produces one of the most celebrated soundtracks in automotive history. For the serious GCC buyer, this is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, regional-spec classic that bridges the gap between modern performance and collector-grade heritage.

This Car vs Other 2015 DB9s

With just 56,950 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered roughly 5,100 km per year—far below the typical 20,000–25,000 km expected in the GCC. The Black-on-Black configuration is a high-demand combination in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring it stays relevant in the local used market compared to lighter or non-standard hues.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

By 2015, the standard DB9 benefited from the AM11 engine and fourth-generation VH architecture previously reserved for the Virage. This includes standard carbon-ceramic brakes for superior heat dissipation in Gulf summers and the 20-inch alloy wheels that give it a much more aggressive stance than earlier model years.

DB9 vs Segment Rivals

While the Bentley Continental GT is heavier and more insulated, the DB9 offers a purer, rear-wheel-drive sports car feel that enthusiasts in the UAE prefer for spirited weekend drives. Compared to the Maserati GranTurismo, the Aston Martin provides a more bespoke, hand-assembled interior and the prestige of a naturally aspirated V12.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages 14.3L/100km, which is expected for a large-displacement V12 during highway cruising between emirates. Service intervals are required every 16,000 km or 12 months, with authorized service centers well-established in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As a late-model V12, it enjoys better value retention than earlier iterations, typically depreciating at a stabilized 10-15% annually in the current GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this GT is a 510 hp V12 that propels the car to a top speed of 295 km/h, making highway overtaking effortless. The rear-wheel-drive setup and near 50:50 weight distribution provide a balanced handling profile perfect for the sweeping curves of Jebel Hafeet. Three-stage adaptive damping allows you to switch from a comfortable cruiser to a firm track-ready machine at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in British craftsmanship, featuring bridge-of-weir leather and authentic wood trim that stays cooler in the sun than synthetic alternatives. Powerful GCC-spec air conditioning ensures the 2+2 cabin remains comfortable even during peak summer months. The glass 'Emotion Control Unit' (key) and Bang & Olufsen audio system provide the high-tech touches expected by executive buyers.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of electronic aids including Dynamic Stability Control and Emergency Brake Assist, crucial for maintaining traction on sandy or fast-moving highway surfaces. Six airbags come standard, and the massive carbon-ceramic brakes offer fade-free stopping power that significantly outperforms the steel systems found on older luxury rivals.

The bottom line

This is a collector-quality GT for the buyer who values the prestige of a naturally aspirated V12 and the security of a well-maintained, low-mileage GCC-spec vehicle.
