Summary

This 2015 Infiniti QX50 Premium stands out in the GCC market as a performance-oriented crossover that bridges the gap between a sporty hatchback and a versatile SUV. Powered by the legendary VQ37 engine, it offers a level of mechanical engagement and power that modern turbocharged four-cylinder rivals struggle to match. Finished in a bold Red, a color that maintains high visual appeal and distinguishes it from the typical sea of white and silver vehicles on UAE roads. With GCC regional specifications, this vehicle is fully optimized for the extreme summer heat, ensuring reliable air conditioning and engine cooling performance throughout the year. It represents an excellent opportunity for buyers who value a driver-focused experience without sacrificing the ride height and utility of an All-Wheel Drive crossover.

This Car vs Other 2015 QX50s

With a mileage of 171,226 km, this vehicle aligns with the average for GCC-based cars of this age, where long highway commutes between emirates are common. While many QX50s in the market are found in neutral tones, this Red example offers a more exclusive aesthetic that remains a strong choice for those seeking a premium, sporty look. Its GCC-spec status ensures that all internal components and cooling systems are specifically designed for the region's unique environmental demands.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly enhances the cabin experience, most notably through the inclusion of the 11-speaker Bose premium audio system which provides superior sound staging. It also adds a high-resolution navigation system and front/rear sonar sensors that are often missing on base models. These additions, combined with the standard leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control, make the Premium trim the most desirable specification for long-distance driving in the Gulf.

QX50 vs Segment Rivals

The QX50 competes directly with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, leading the segment in raw power delivery thanks to its high-revving 3.7-litre V6 engine. While European rivals often prioritize smaller turbocharged engines, the Infiniti offers a more linear power curve and a mechanical robustness that is highly valued in the GCC market. Its all-wheel-drive system provides superior traction on sandy road shoulders and during the rare but heavy regional rainstorms.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.7L V6 typically averages around 11.7 L/100km, performing best during long highway drives between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Infiniti maintains a strong authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, making parts and specialized maintenance easily accessible. The model year 2015 is known for its mechanical reliability, helping it retain value better than many European luxury crossovers which experience steeper depreciation in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 328 hp output allows the QX50 to reach 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, offering effortless highway overtaking even in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. The 7-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, while the All-Wheel Drive system ensures stability across varied GCC terrains, from tarmac to light gravel trails. Despite its crossover height, the chassis is balanced to feel more like a sports sedan, providing confidence during high-speed cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around five passengers, featuring high-quality leather and soft-touch materials that remain durable under intense sunlight. The dual-zone climate control system is engineered for the Middle East, quickly cooling the interior even after the car has been parked in direct heat. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents, a vital feature for family comfort during the summer months, while the Bose audio system provides a refined acoustic environment.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive 6-airbag system and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), which is particularly useful for sudden stops on sandy or dusty surfaces. The Premium trim also includes an Around View Monitor (360° camera) in many regional configurations, making parking in tight urban spaces much safer. Traction control and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) come standard to manage the V6's power effectively across all driving conditions.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec QX50 Premium is the perfect choice for a driver who wants the performance of a sports sedan with the practicality of an SUV, backed by Infiniti's reputation for long-term reliability in the region.
