• 345 hp from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6
• 500 litres boot space standard

Summary

This 2015 Maserati Ghibli is a standout executive sedan that combines Italian soul with a level of exclusivity you won't find in its German rivals. With just 51,000 km, its mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC, where the average car of this age typically exceeds 180,000 km. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical choices for the region, hiding desert dust while maintaining a strong professional aesthetic. Under the hood, the Ferrari-developed V6 provides a mechanical character that defines the Ghibli, making every highway merge between the Emirates feel special. For a GCC buyer, this represents a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, GCC-spec luxury icon that has already moved past its steepest depreciation phase.

This Car vs Other 2015 Ghiblis

At 51,000 km, this Ghibli has been driven less than 6,000 km per year, which is far below the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. Most 2015 examples currently on the market have significantly higher wear on their interiors and mechanical components. The GCC specification is vital here, ensuring the cooling systems and AC are optimized for extreme summer temperatures, which is a major advantage over imported American or European spec models.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Ghibli Standard serves as the entry point to the lineup but still includes high-end features like the 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control system, Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, and bi-xenon headlights. Unlike many base-model luxury cars, this trim retains the crucial ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and the twin-turbo V6 engine shared across the range. It balances daily usability with the signature Maserati exhaust note that enthusiasts specifically look for.

Ghibli vs Segment Rivals

While the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class are common sights on UAE roads, the Ghibli offers a level of rarity and Italian flair they cannot match. It leads the segment in emotional appeal, featuring an engine developed in collaboration with Ferrari. Furthermore, with a 500-litre boot, it offers practical space for airport runs or shopping trips that rivals its more clinical competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V6 typically averages around 9.6 L/100km, though this will rise in heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are recommended every 15,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers like Al Tayer Motors or Fast Auto Technic, which have a strong presence across the GCC. While Maseratis face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese brands, a well-maintained, low-mileage GCC-spec model like this tends to find a dedicated buyer pool in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 345 hp twin-turbo V6 delivers a top speed of 263 km/h, providing effortless overtaking power on long highway stretches like the E11. The ZF 8-speed transmission is tuned for both comfort and sharp shifts, making the car surprisingly agile for its size. The five selectable drive modes allow you to adjust the car's personality from a quiet executive cruiser to a focused sports sedan at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around the driver, featuring premium Italian leather and a high-resolution infotainment screen that was advanced for its year. For the GCC climate, the powerful dual-zone climate control is essential, quickly cooling the cabin even after the car has been parked in the sun. The 5-seat layout provides ample room for four adults to travel in comfort on cross-border drives between GCC cities.

Safety

The 2015 Ghibli carries a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, backed by a comprehensive airbag system and advanced stability control. Standard safety tech includes bi-xenon headlights for superior nighttime visibility on unlit desert roads and front/rear parking sensors to assist in tight city spaces. The chassis is built with a mix of aluminum and steel to provide a rigid safety cell for all five occupants.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a professional who wants a low-mileage Italian thoroughbred that stands out from the crowd. Its GCC-spec history and remarkably low odometer reading make it one of the most sensible Maserati purchases currently available in the region.
