This is the penultimate Benz A-Class with a 2.0-litre direct injection producing 211 break horsepower and 350Nm of torque, turbocharged four cylinders with variable cam timing. Super quick on the proverbial mountain road and excellent for a dash in traffic. The practical 5 door hatchback is stiff competition for any hot hatchback.
As for the interior, you have got to love red seat belts - so bold, brash, and instantly fun. They are partnered with super supportive seats and the red is echoed in the trim, both on the seats and around the dash with the turbine air vent outlines a highlight. The flat-bottomed steering wheel feels nice in the hand, the controls are logically set out and the 8.0-inch colour screen that fronts Benz's easy to use COMAND infotainment system that is difficult to fault. Overall, the interior of the A250 is a very nice place to be.
