Summary

This silver Mercedes-Benz E350 Sports Coupe offers a refined balance of performance and aesthetics, featuring the higher-output V6 that remains a favorite for its smooth power delivery. In the GCC market, silver is among the most practical and sought-after colors for heat reflection and strong resale demand. While the mileage reflects a history of consistent use, this generation of the E-Class is renowned for its mechanical durability and suitability for the long highway commutes common between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This specific coupe stands out from its four-door siblings by offering a more aggressive, pillarless profile that captures a true grand-touring feel. For a local buyer, the combination of a high-capacity fuel tank and the proven 7G-TRONIC transmission makes it a reliable executive companion for both city and cross-border travel.

This Car vs Other 2016 E350s

With 154,000 km, this vehicle has been driven roughly 19,000 km per year, which is slightly below the GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. Its American specification means it often features a higher initial technology suite, though buyers should verify service records as it does not carry the regional cooling modifications of a GCC-spec equivalent. The silver exterior is a top-tier choice for the UAE, significantly aiding in resale value compared to more niche colors.

SPORTS vs Lower Trims

The Sports trim elevates the E350 with a lowered Agility Control suspension and a more aggressive AMG-inspired body kit that distinguishes it from the Luxury line. It adds perforated front brake discs for better heat dissipation and a flat-bottomed steering wheel that enhances the driver-centric feel of the coupe. These upgrades are particularly valued by UAE buyers looking for a sharper aesthetic without the high maintenance costs of a full AMG model.

E350 vs Segment Rivals

The E350 Coupe leads rivals like the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5 with its unique pillarless side window design, providing an airy cabin feel that competitors cannot match. Its naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 offers a more linear power delivery compared to the turbocharged four-cylinders found in many base-level rivals. Additionally, the generous 80-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long desert highway drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 typically averages around 9.5L/100km on the highway, rising to approximately 13L/100km in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the most robust authorized service networks in the UAE, ensuring parts for this generation are readily available at both dealerships and specialized independent garages. While American-spec vehicles depreciate at a slightly higher rate than GCC-spec cars, the E350 remains a staple of the used market with predictable maintenance costs.

Performance & Capability

Generating 302 hp and 370 Nm of torque, the E350 Coupe delivers effortless highway overtaking and a composed ride at high speeds. The 7-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, perfectly suited for the well-maintained multi-lane roads of the GCC. While not a track-focused machine, the sport-tuned suspension provides excellent stability during spirited drives through the Hatta mountains or along the coast.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 4-seater layout featuring premium materials and the high-fidelity Harman Kardon surround sound system as a highlight of the Sports trim. Standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control with powerful air conditioning capable of managing the intense summer heat, complemented by high-quality cabin insulation. The automatic seat-belt presenters are a thoughtful luxury touch that simplifies the entry process for driver and passenger alike.

Safety

This E350 is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Attention Assist, which monitors driver fatigue during long desert commutes. Standard features like Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist are particularly valuable on fast-moving GCC highways, while the Pre-Safe system adds an extra layer of occupant protection. The inclusion of multiple airbags and a reinforced steel body structure ensures a high level of passive safety for all four passengers.

The bottom line

This E350 Sports Coupe is the ideal choice for an executive or enthusiast seeking a timeless Mercedes design with a proven V6 powertrain. It represents a smart opportunity to own a high-spec, well-maintained German coupe that is perfectly suited for the UAE's highway lifestyle.
