Summary

This Huracan LP580-2 represents the purest driving experience in the lineup, trading all-wheel-drive grip for a more engaging rear-wheel-drive setup and lighter curb weight. With just 27,155 km over its 9-year lifespan, this example has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km per year seen in the GCC, making it a rare low-mileage find. The White exterior is a top-tier resale color in the UAE and wider GCC market, ensuring strong liquidity when it comes time to upgrade. Unlike the all-wheel-drive versions, the LP580-2 features a specific suspension and steering calibration designed for enthusiasts who value chassis balance and throttle-steer capability. This is a collector-grade opportunity for a driver seeking a high-revving V10 soul without the high-mileage concerns typical of decade-old exotics.

This Car vs Other 2017 Huracans

At 27,155 km, this Huracan has averaged roughly 3,000 km per year, which is exceptionally low for the GCC where exotics are often used for inter-emirate highway runs. Most 9-year-old Huracans in the local market carry double this mileage, giving this specific unit a clear mechanical and resale advantage. The White finish is particularly well-suited for the region, reflecting heat better than darker tones and maintaining the highest demand in the UAE used market.

LP580-2 vs Lower Trims

The LP580-2 sits as the focused enthusiast choice, offering a 33kg weight saving over the LP610-4 by removing the front-drive hardware. It features a unique front bumper design for improved downforce and a recalibrated ANIMA system with a dedicated 'Sport' mode tuned for controlled oversteer. While it shares the core V10 architecture, the RWD specific steering and softer front spring rates make it a more communicative car on tight technical roads.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Ferrari 488 GTB or McLaren 720S, the Huracan stands out for its naturally aspirated V10, providing an immediate throttle response and acoustic character that turbocharged rivals cannot match. Its Audi-backed electronics and air conditioning system are widely considered the most reliable in the supercar segment, a vital factor for trouble-free operation during the intense GCC summer months.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 13.7 L/100km combined, though GCC city traffic can see urban figures rise to 17.2 L/100km. The 5.2-litre V10 is famously robust, requiring minor service every 15,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers available across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Doha. While exotic depreciation is standard, the Huracan holds its value better than segment rivals due to high local demand and the legendary reliability of its powertrain.

Performance & Capability

The 580 hp V10 propels the car to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with 540 Nm of torque ensuring effortless highway overtaking at high speeds. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides a pure connection to the road, featuring a 40/60 weight distribution that makes the front end feel incredibly light and precise. The 7-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission delivers lightning-fast shifts, perfectly suited for both spirited weekend drives and cruising UAE highways.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Huracan features a driver-centric cockpit with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that displays all vital performance data. The dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle extreme temperatures, cooling the compact two-seat cabin rapidly even in peak summer. High-quality leather and Alcantara finishes provide a luxury feel, while the nose-lifting system ensures practicality when navigating speed bumps or steep villa entrances in the region.

Safety

The Huracan is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including four airbags, electronic stability control specifically tuned for rear-wheel-drive dynamics, and high-performance steel brakes. The hydraulic brake assist and traction control systems provide confidence during high-speed highway driving, while the carbon-fiber and aluminum hybrid chassis offers exceptional structural rigidity and occupant protection.

The bottom line

This low-mileage LP580-2 is the ideal choice for a UAE-based purist who wants the iconic V10 soundtrack and rear-wheel-drive character in a high-resale color and excellent mechanical condition.
