Lamborghini Huracan PERFORMANTE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds
• 640 hp from a naturally aspirated V10
• Top speed of 325 km/h

Summary

This Huracan Performante is a track-focused evolution of the V10 legend, specifically engineered to dominate both the circuit and the open highways of the GCC. While its mileage is higher than typical weekend-only supercars, this indicates a vehicle that has been mechanically exercised and proven suitable for the region's long-distance driving demands. Finished in black, the most liquid resale color in the UAE and Saudi markets, this example offers a strong entry point into the limited-run Performante lineage. As a naturally aspirated machine, it provides a linear power delivery and acoustic drama that modern turbocharged rivals simply cannot replicate. For a buyer in the Emirates, this represents an opportunity to own a verified GCC-spec icon with a documented performance pedigree.

This Car vs Other 2018 Huracans

With 100,026 km, this vehicle has seen more regular use than the low-mileage examples often kept as garage queens in the UAE. In the GCC market, high mileage on a supercar can be a sign of mechanical reliability and regular maintenance, especially when compared to cars that suffer from seal degradation due to lack of use in extreme heat. The black exterior remains a top-tier choice for resale, ensuring it stays highly desirable across the secondary markets in Dubai and Riyadh.

PERFORMANTE vs Lower Trims

The Performante trim introduces the revolutionary Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, which provides active aero for high downforce or low drag on demand. Compared to the standard LP 610-4, this trim adds 30 hp, shaves 40 kg through extensive use of Forged Composite carbon fiber, and features a track-tuned suspension and remapped dual-clutch transmission. Inside, Alcantara and carbon fiber dominate the cabin, emphasizing its motorsport intent over the more road-biased base models.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

The Huracan Performante competes directly with the Ferrari 488 Pista and McLaren 720S. While rivals rely on turbocharging, the Lamborghini leads with the emotional engagement and instant throttle response of its 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10. Its all-wheel-drive system offers significantly more stability on sand-dusted GCC highways compared to its rear-wheel-drive competitors, making it a more approachable supercar for daily use.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 13.7 L/100km combined, though city driving in stop-start Dubai traffic will see this figure rise significantly. Service intervals are typically required every 10,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers available across major GCC cities. While European supercars depreciate faster than luxury SUVs, the Performante’s status as a specialized, limited-production variant helps it retain value better than standard Huracan models.

Performance & Capability

The Performante reaches 0–100 km/h in a staggering 2.9 seconds, a figure verified by official manufacturer testing. With a top speed of 325 km/h, it is perfectly suited for the UAE's high-speed arterial roads and track sessions at the Dubai Autodrome. The ALA system manages airflow in less than 500 milliseconds, ensuring maximum stability during high-speed cornering and heavy braking.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-centric environment featuring lightweight bucket seats and extensive Alcantara upholstery designed to keep occupants secure during high-G maneuvers. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is robust, providing necessary cooling even during the peak summer months. Despite its track focus, the digital cockpit provides modern navigation and essential tech for cross-emirate commutes.

Safety

Safety is managed by a sophisticated electronic stability control system and high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes standard on this trim. The all-wheel-drive system provides essential traction on the varied surfaces of GCC roads, while front and side airbags provide standard passive protection. Blind-spot monitoring and cruise control are often equipped to aid in fast-moving highway traffic.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast looking for a high-performance GCC-spec V10 that has been thoroughly driven and proven, this Performante offers the ultimate blend of active aero technology and raw Italian soul.
