Summary

This 2019 Infiniti QX50 Autograph stands out in the GCC market as a low-mileage example of the brand's most tech-forward SUV generation. As the flagship Autograph trim, it offers a level of cabin refinement usually reserved for higher segments, featuring semi-aniline quilted leather and open-pore maple wood. The innovative VC-Turbo engine provides a rare balance of V6-like power for highway overtaking and smaller-engine efficiency for city commutes. While this is a Canadian regional spec, the QX50’s mechanical components and dual-display infotainment systems are widely supported by the established Infiniti service network across the Emirates and Saudi Arabia. For buyers seeking a premium Japanese SUV that avoids the ubiquity of its rivals, this low-distance Autograph represents a sophisticated choice.

This Car vs Other 2019 QX50s

With just 33,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered less than half the distance of a typical 2019 model in the GCC, where annual averages often exceed 20,000 km. The White exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, offering the highest heat reflection during summer months and maintaining the strongest resale value. While many 2019 units found locally are mid-range Luxe or Essential trims, this flagship Autograph remains a rarity in this condition.

AUTOGRAPH vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim significantly elevates the QX50 above the Sensory and Essential levels with exclusive interior materials, including a unique Ultrasuede headliner and quilted semi-aniline leather. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the standard 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio and the inclusion of a factory tow hitch, which is often an added cost on lower trims. It also features unique 20-inch dark-painted wheels and adaptive front lighting that improves visibility on unlit desert roads.

QX50 vs Segment Rivals

The QX50 competes directly with the Lexus NX, BMW X3, and Audi Q5, leading the segment with its unique variable compression engine technology that adapts to driving styles. It offers a more generous boot capacity of up to 895 liters with the rear seats in place, outclassing several European rivals in family practicality. The Infiniti's zero-gravity seat technology also provides superior long-distance comfort compared to the firmer seating found in German competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the VC-Turbo engine typically averages around 9.0 L/100km combined, offering a significant range advantage on long drives between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Infiniti maintains an extensive authorized service network across the Middle East, ensuring parts availability and qualified technicians are accessible in all major GCC hubs. As a flagship trim with very low mileage, this vehicle is positioned to retain its value better than higher-mileage base models, following a depreciation curve of roughly 12% annually in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L VC-Turbo engine delivers a robust 268 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, enabling an estimated 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 6.7 seconds. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system provides confident traction on gravel and wet surfaces, while the drive mode selector allows for an Eco setting to save fuel in heavy city traffic. Its 1,361 kg towing capacity is ideal for light trailers or jet skis, making it a versatile companion for weekend activities in the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout for the GCC climate, equipped with powerful dual-zone climate control and standard ventilated front seats to combat high summer temperatures. The Autograph’s interior is whisper-quiet thanks to active noise cancellation, providing a serene environment for daily commutes. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and sliding/reclining seats, ensuring executive-level comfort for all five occupants.

Safety

This Autograph trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, which is essential for navigating tight parking spaces. Standard active features include Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Lane Departure Prevention, providing peace of mind on fast-moving GCC highways. The vehicle also features a robust 8-airbag system and predictive collision warnings that monitor two cars ahead.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a buyer who wants a flagship-spec luxury SUV with exceptionally low mileage, offering a distinct alternative to the standard European options in the UAE.
