Summary

This 7-year-old Mercedes-Benz S560 represents a compelling luxury opportunity in the GCC market, combining a relatively low mileage of 52,000 km with the region's preferred V8 powertrain. The deep Blue exterior offers a sophisticated alternative to the common monochrome palette while maintaining strong resale appeal among executive buyers. As the W222 generation's refined facelift model, it bridges the gap between classic German craftsmanship and modern digital cockpit technology. With All-Wheel Drive and a biturbo engine, it provides effortless performance for both city commuting and long-distance cross-border travel.

This Car vs Other 2019 S560s

At 52,000 km, this S560 has been driven significantly less than the GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, placing it in a premium low-mileage category for a 7-year-old vehicle. While most examples in this segment are found in white or black, this Blue finish provides a distinctive look that remains highly marketable in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The combination of low wear and GCC regional specifications ensures the cooling and filtration systems are optimized for local heat.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The S560 trim is a substantial step up from the V6-powered S450, primarily through its 4.0L biturbo V8 which offers a far more effortless driving character. In the GCC market, this trim typically adds Nappa leather upholstery as standard, along with 19-inch wheels and enhanced cabin appointments that were optional on lower models. The addition of standard ventilated seating is a critical advantage for maintaining comfort during the peak summer months.

S560 vs Segment Rivals

The S-Class continues to lead segment rivals like the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8 in terms of ride refinement and cabin insulation, which is particularly noticeable on the UAE's high-speed motorways. Its biturbo V8 provides a smoother power delivery than the equivalent 750i, while the 80-litre fuel tank ensures a superior touring range for long-distance drives across the Emirates. The Mercedes brand also enjoys a more extensive authorized service presence throughout the wider GCC region compared to its European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this V8 averages approximately 11.3L/100km, though this can vary during stop-start traffic in major metros like Dubai or Riyadh. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains a value premium of roughly 10–15% over imported American or European examples due to its valid service history and local warranty compatibility. The W222 generation is historically one of the most stable luxury sedans for resale, with well-maintained, low-mileage V8 models attracting consistent demand in the pre-owned market.

Performance & Capability

The 469 hp V8 biturbo engine is the highlight of the S560, allowing this executive sedan to reach 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The 4MATIC All-Wheel Drive system ensures maximum traction on both wet asphalt and sand-dusted desert roads, providing high-speed stability during cross-emirate trips. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, maintaining the car's 'Magic Body Control' reputation even under hard acceleration.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the S-Class features a 5-seat layout with dual 12.3-inch digital displays that form a unified cockpit. The cabin is specifically engineered for high-temperature climates, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats to ensure passenger comfort in 45°C+ weather. Standard acoustic glass helps maintain a library-quiet environment, shielding occupants from both external heat and road noise.

Safety

This S560 is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Pre-Safe technology to protect occupants in fast-moving highway traffic. The standard 360-degree camera and Active Parking Assist are essential for navigating large luxury sedans into tight urban parking spaces. Adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping systems also significantly reduce driver fatigue during long desert highway journeys.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer seeking the traditional V8 S-Class experience, this low-mileage GCC-spec S560 offers the perfect balance of prestige, performance, and local market security.
