Megane’s have 40 years of motorsports in their genes and it clearly shines through in this new shape Megane RS, this all new design is an impressive car, being built to arouse your driving instincts with its back wings extended by 60cm, an all-new aero front bumper featuring a formula 1 blade on the front end, new rear diffuser with a central exhaust exit system, 19” RS black diamond alloy wheels, RS bucket sports seats, RS alcantara/leather steering wheel, new front end LED lights with the additional multi-reflector R.S vision system, blind sport warning, launch control, Brembo brake callipers, side extractor air vents and a wide lip rear spoiler proving this RS is clearly designed for sporting performance.
Powering the RS is a 1.8L turbo charged 4-cylinder engine producing an impressive 285 BHP & 390Nm of torque, benefiting from the know-how of Renault’s motorsport division in adapting this engine to a production sports vehicle base makes the RS one of the best in its class and it helps its range of driving for any situation. The amazing chassis and addition of suspension compression stops, meaning the shock absorbers impact better giving the RS spectacular results in terms of progressive control, comfort, and performance.
