Summary

This 2020 DBS Superleggera is a remarkable find in the GCC market, offering the rare combination of a flagship V12 powertrain and exceptionally low mileage for its six-year age. Finished in a sophisticated Blue that maintains high desirability and resale strength in the region, it represents the absolute pinnacle of Aston Martin's front-engined GT lineage. While the DB11 is a grand tourer, the Superleggera is a re-engineered Super GT, utilizing extensive carbon fiber construction to balance its immense 700 hp output. For a buyer in the UAE or wider Gulf, this car offers the prestige of a hand-assembled British icon with a mechanical profile that is barely broken in. It stands as a powerful alternative to the more common Italian supercars, providing superior long-distance comfort without sacrificing brutal acceleration.

This Car vs Other 2020 DBSs

With just 16,459 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged roughly 2,700 km per year—significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km. This ultra-low usage makes it one of the freshest examples available in the regional used market. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that avoids the rapid heat absorption of darker tones while retaining stronger resale interest than more niche, bright palettes.

SUPERLEGGERA vs Lower Trims

The Superleggera is the high-performance flagship that sits above the DB11 AMR. It adds a more aggressive carbon fiber aero package including the F1-inspired double diffuser and the fixed Aeroblade II, generating 180kg of downforce at VMAX. Inside, it features a higher grade of hand-stitched leather and unique trim options, alongside a high-torque ZF 8-speed transmission specifically designed to handle the V12's 900 Nm of torque.

DBS vs Segment Rivals

The DBS Superleggera leads the Ferrari 812 Superfast in low-end torque, delivering its peak 900 Nm from just 1,800 rpm for effortless highway overtaking. Compared to the Bentley Continental GT Speed, the Aston Martin offers a much more visceral, lightweight driving experience thanks to its extensive use of carbon fiber panels. It bridges the gap between a focused supercar and a long-distance cruiser better than almost any rival in the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V12 averages around 13.5 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise significantly. Service intervals are required every 16,000 km or 12 months, and as a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the full support of the authorized Aston Martin service network in the UAE and across the Gulf. Flagship V12 Astons typically show better long-term value retention compared to V8 models, especially examples with documented low mileage.

Performance & Capability

The 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 is a masterpiece of engineering, propelling the car to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.4 seconds. Its 340 km/h top speed is supported by a carbon-fiber prop shaft and a mechanical limited-slip differential with torque vectoring. Three distinct driving modes—GT, Sport, and Sport Plus—allow the driver to transform the car from a quiet cross-country cruiser to a sharp, aggressive performer at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 2+2 layout wrapped in the finest hand-finished materials, featuring heated and ventilated sport seats that are essential for the GCC summer. A premium Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system and a 360-degree camera system are standard on this flagship trim, ensuring luxury and ease of parking. The dual-zone climate control is specifically calibrated to manage high ambient temperatures, providing rapid cabin cooling even after being parked in the sun.

Safety

This DBS is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including eight airbags and advanced stability and traction control systems. Driver assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are particularly valuable on the fast-moving multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. The standard carbon-ceramic braking system provides immense, fade-free stopping power, essential for a car with this level of performance.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a flagship V12 Super GT with exceptionally low mileage, offering a significant saving over new while remaining in showroom-like condition. It is the perfect choice for the GCC collector or enthusiast who demands supercar performance without compromising on British elegance and long-distance comfort.
