Summary

This Quattroporte S offers a compelling entry into the world of Italian luxury sedans, featuring a relatively low mileage of 57,000 km that represents a distinct advantage in the GCC market where annual highway driving often exceeds 25,000 km. The white exterior is the most sought-after resale color in the region, ensuring better value retention and excellent heat reflection during summer months. While German rivals focus on sterile efficiency, the Maserati delivers an emotional experience through its sonorous, Ferrari-derived powertrain and elegant Italian lines. For a buyer in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, this listing represents a well-maintained example of a flagship sedan that balances executive presence with genuine sports car performance. Ownership is supported by a robust authorized service network across major GCC cities, providing peace of mind for long-distance travel.

This Car vs Other 2020 Quattroportes

With 57,000 km on the clock, this Quattroporte S has been driven significantly less than the typical 80,000 to 100,000 km found on four-year-old GCC executive sedans. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, as it is the highest-demand color for resale and helps maintain a cooler cabin temperature. This specific mileage puts it in a 'sweet spot' for buyers looking for a modern Maserati that has already cleared its initial steep depreciation curve while remaining mechanically fresh.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim represents a significant performance leap over the base model, utilizing a high-output 424 hp version of the 3.0L twin-turbo V6. Beyond the engine, the S trim adds essential GCC features as standard, including adaptive LED headlights for better night visibility on unlit desert roads and Skyhook adaptive suspension to manage high-speed highway stability. It also includes soft-close doors and a standard 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, features that are often optional on lower-tier specifications.

Quattroporte vs Segment Rivals

The Quattroporte leads its primary rivals, the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class, in pure emotional character and brand exclusivity. While the German competitors are common sights in Dubai and Riyadh, the Maserati offers a unique Italian aesthetic and a 80-litre fuel tank that is ideal for non-stop drives between emirates. Its longer wheelbase provides rear legroom that rivals the long-wheelbase versions of its competitors, making it a viable executive car for chauffeur-driven owners.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V6 averages approximately 9.6 L/100km on the highway, though GCC stop-start city traffic will see this rise to roughly 13.8 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 20,000 km or 12 months, with major service centers readily available in the UAE (Al Tayer) and Saudi Arabia (Fast Auto Technic). While Italian luxury cars face higher depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the GCC spec and popular white color help this specific S trim maintain a stronger secondary market value than imported American or European examples.

Performance & Capability

The standout figure is the top speed of 288 km/h, enabled by a powertrain developed in collaboration with Ferrari. With 424 hp and 580 Nm of torque delivered via a refined ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, the Quattroporte S offers effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. Selectable drive modes, including I.C.E. (Increased Control & Efficiency), allow the driver to calibrate the car for either relaxed fuel-saving commutes or sharp, responsive weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is a masterclass in Italian craftsmanship, featuring premium leather and a spacious 530-litre boot for golf clubs or travel luggage. The 2020 model year benefits from improved cabin insulation and an 8.4-inch touchscreen with full Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Standard dual-zone climate control and rear cooling vents are designed to handle extreme GCC summer heat, ensuring all five passengers remain comfortable even during peak daytime temperatures.

Safety

This S trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite essential for fast-paced GCC traffic, including adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring. The standard 360-degree surround-view camera is particularly useful for maneuvering this large sedan in tight parking structures in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. It also features forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist, providing a high level of active protection on both city streets and long desert highways.

The bottom line

Ideal for the executive who wants to stand out from the German crowd, this GCC-spec Quattroporte S offers low mileage and the region's best resale color in a package that sounds and drives like no other sedan in its class.
