Chevrolet Blazer PREMIER

Highlights

• 308 hp from a 3.6L V6
• Ventilated front seats standard
• 864 litres boot space

Summary

This 2021 Blazer Premier offers a compelling mix of low mileage and top-tier equipment that makes it a standout choice in the GCC used market. While many SUVs of this age have crossed the 60,000 km mark, this example has covered less than half that, preserving its mechanical integrity for the region's demanding summer heat. The Premier trim transforms the Blazer into a genuine luxury contender, replacing the sporty black accents of the RS with sophisticated chrome and a significantly more refined cabin. Its white exterior is a strategic choice for local buyers, offering the highest heat deflection and the strongest resale potential in the UAE. For those seeking a road-biased crossover that prioritizes cabin comfort and highway stability over rugged off-roading, this low-mileage Premier is an exceptional opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2021 Blazers

At just 27,000 km, this Blazer sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km per year, representing roughly one year of standard use despite being a 2021 model. The white paint is the most sought-after color in the regional used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention compared to darker shades. This low-usage profile means the interior materials and mechanical components remain in near-new condition.

Premier vs Lower Trims

The Premier trim is the height of the Blazer lineup, adding essential GCC comforts that the LT and RS trims lack as standard, such as ventilated front seats and a power-adjustable steering column. It also features a superior 8-speaker Bose premium audio system and a unique cargo management system with floor-mounted rails. The perforated leather-appointed seating and silver roof rails provide a more executive aesthetic compared to the cloth-heavy lower trims.

Blazer vs Segment Rivals

The Blazer leads rivals like the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano in raw power, delivering a substantial 308 horsepower from its 3.6L V6 engine for easier highway overtaking. It offers a more generous 864-litre boot capacity with the seats up, outclassing many five-seat crossovers in family practicality. Its road-focused All-Wheel Drive system is specifically tuned for high-speed stability on the long desert highways between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.6L V6 typically ranges between 11 and 13 L/100km in GCC city traffic, improving significantly on open highways. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the extensive authorized service networks of Bin Hamoodah and Al Ghandi in the UAE and Aljomaih in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts are always available. The Blazer maintains a stable depreciation curve in the region, with the Premier trim holding a premium due to its high feature density.

Performance & Capability

The 308 hp V6 engine provides a refined and muscular driving experience, capable of reaching 100 km/h in approximately 6.8 seconds. The 9-speed automatic transmission is geared for smoothness, making it an ideal companion for long-distance commutes across the GCC. While it features All-Wheel Drive for wet roads and light gravel, its primary strength is its composed handling and confident braking on paved surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is engineered for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats that are vital during peak summer months. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and heated outboard seats for the cooler winter nights. The interior is exceptionally quiet thanks to active noise cancellation, providing a serene environment for all five occupants during extended road trips.

Safety

This Premier trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist to manage fast-moving highway traffic. It also comes standard with a high-definition 360-degree camera system and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, making it significantly easier to navigate tight urban parking spaces. Blind-spot monitoring provides an extra layer of protection during multi-lane highway driving common in Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a professional or small family seeking the highest possible spec and the lowest possible mileage in a stylish, road-focused SUV. It offers a rare combination of luxury features and mechanical freshness that is difficult to find in the current 2021 used market.
