Ferrari Monza 6.5L V12 Naturally Engine

Ferrari Monza SP2

The Ferrari Monza SP2 marked the beginning of Ferrari’s exclusive Icona series, created to reinterpret the marque’s legendary racing heritage through a distinctly modern design. Inspired by the 750 Monza and 860 Monza sports racers of the 1950s, the SP2 brings the spirit of Ferrari’s classic barchettas into a limited-production, contemporary form.

With no roof or windscreen, the Monza SP2 features a dramatically sculpted carbon-fibre body, an elongated bonnet and twin rear fairings that echo the proportions of Ferrari’s historic sports racers. Unlike the single-seat SP1, the SP2 features two seats, making it a modern interpretation of the open-top barchettas once raced by Ferrari’s factory team and private clients.

Underneath, the SP2 is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 derived from the 812 Superfast, producing 799 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and exceeds 300 km/h. With its combination of Ferrari’s V12 heritage, open-cockpit design and Icona exclusivity, the Monza SP2 is a modern tribute to some of the marque’s most evocative racing cars.
