Summary

This 5-year-old Ferrari Roma presents an exceptional opportunity for GCC buyers, combining low mileage for its age with the refined presence of its Grey exterior. As a modern Grand Tourer, it offers a more versatile daily driving experience than its mid-engine siblings while maintaining the unmistakable performance of the Prancing Horse. The European specification typically provides a high level of interior finish, making it a sophisticated choice for navigating the UAE's urban landscapes. For an enthusiast looking to enter Ferrari ownership, this specific Roma bridges the gap between a focused supercar and a comfortable long-distance cruiser. Given its current mileage, it remains well within the window of its high-performance mechanical peak.

This Car vs Other 2021 Romas

With just 15,302 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. Its Grey exterior is a highly desirable and stable resale choice in the region, offering a timeless look that holds value better than more niche colors. The European spec status often means the car has been maintained to strict standards, though buyers should verify local service history for GCC-specific oil and cooling requirements.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Roma is produced in a single, high-specification trim level that includes premium features standard, such as the 16-inch curved digital instrument cluster and a portrait-style 8.4-inch central touchscreen. This particular unit benefits from the advanced 8-speed dual-clutch transmission derived from the SF90 Stradale, providing faster gear changes than previous Ferrari GT models. Standard equipment also includes full LED headlights and a high-performance Brembo braking system that ensures immense stopping power.

Roma vs Segment Rivals

The Roma leads rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 and Bentley Continental GT V8 with a superior power-to-weight ratio and more aggressive track-derived aerodynamics. Its 80-litre fuel tank provides the necessary range for cross-emirate drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi without frequent stops. Furthermore, the dual-cockpit interior design offers a more intimate and focused driving environment than the more traditional layouts found in its German or British competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 11.2 L/100km, which is efficient for a V8 of this caliber on GCC highways, though city driving in stop-start traffic will see this figure rise. Owners can utilize the extensive Ferrari service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals typically occurring every 12 months or 20,000 km. While European spec cars can see a slightly higher depreciation rate than GCC-spec equivalents, the low mileage and popular color of this Roma act as strong mitigants for long-term value retention.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a 612 hp twin-turbo V8, the Roma delivers blistering acceleration and a top speed of 320 km/h, making it one of the fastest grand tourers on the road. The active rear spoiler automatically adjusts through three positions—Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce—to ensure stability during high-speed highway cruising. Multiple drive modes, selectable via the Manettino dial on the steering wheel, allow the driver to transition from a comfortable commute to a sharp, track-ready response instantly.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2+2 seating configuration features high-grade leather upholstery and an ergonomic dual-cockpit layout that isolates the passenger and driver in their own dedicated zones. Despite its low-slung profile, the cabin is well-insulated against the summer heat and provides 272 litres of boot space, which is sufficient for weekend getaways. The climate control system is intuitive, ensuring the interior remains cool even when temperatures rise during the peak of the Gulf summer.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes an advanced Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system and F1-Trac traction control, which are essential for managing 612 hp on sandy or high-speed road surfaces. The Roma is fitted with a comprehensive airbag system and high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes for maximum safety during spirited driving. Many units also feature front and rear parking sensors and a rearview camera to assist with visibility in tight urban environments.

The bottom line

For the collector or daily driver seeking Italian soul with low-mileage reliability, this 2021 Ferrari Roma is a premier entry into the world of the Prancing Horse.
