Summary

This GCC-spec hatchback is a definitive performance icon in the region, featuring a blue exterior that holds high demand for sport-focused buyers. With mileage sitting just below the typical GCC annual average for a 2021 model, it represents a well-preserved example of the world's most powerful production four-cylinder car. The AWD system and advanced cooling make it a top-tier choice for daily commuting on fast UAE highways or enthusiast weekend drives. For a buyer in the Gulf, finding a regional-spec model in this configuration ensures full compatibility with local service networks and better value retention than imported alternatives.

This Car vs Other 2021 A45s

At 66,093 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 22,000 km per year, which aligns perfectly with the standard usage patterns for high-performance cars in the UAE. The blue exterior is a sought-after choice for the AMG-S trim in the local market, often fetching a quicker sale than standard grey or white units. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it avoids the common air conditioning and radio frequency issues often found in American or European imports.

AMG- S vs Lower Trims

The AMG-S trim is a significant leap over the standard A45, pushing output to 421 hp and adding the specialized Drift Mode within the 4MATIC+ system. It comes standard with the AMG Aerodynamics package and larger 19-inch forged wheels that GCC buyers look for. Inside, you receive the AMG Performance seats and the expanded MBUX augmented reality navigation as standard equipment.

A45 vs Segment Rivals

The A45 S leads its closest rival, the Audi RS3, in raw power output and features a more aggressive track-focused suspension setup better suited for the high-speed curves of Yas Marina. While the BMW M2 offers a rear-wheel-drive experience, the Mercedes provides superior daily utility with its five-door hatchback layout and sophisticated all-wheel-drive grip for rainy winter days in the Emirates. Its interior technology remains the segment leader for cabin aesthetics and digital integration.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 8.9 L/100km, though this will rise in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Maintenance is recommended every 15,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers like Gargash or EMC, which are widely available across the UAE. The AMG-S trim historically retains value better than the base AMG models due to its flagship status and higher desirability among local enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

With 421 hp and 500 Nm of torque, this car delivers an official 0-100 km/h time of just 3.9 seconds, rivaling many dedicated supercars. The 8-speed dual-clutch transmission provides lightning-fast shifts that are essential for merging onto the E11 or E311 highways. The Drift Mode allows for controlled oversteer on closed circuits, while the adaptive damping ensures the ride remains composed during long-distance drives between Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a mix of luxury and motorsport, featuring Nappa leather and Dinamica microfiber upholstery that stays comfortable even in the peak of the Gulf summer. Dual-zone Thermotronic climate control is specifically calibrated for high-temperature regions to ensure rapid cabin cooling. The 64-color ambient lighting and Burmester surround sound system provide a premium environment for the daily commute.

Safety

This model is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a 360-degree camera system that is invaluable for parking in tight mall spaces. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system provides exceptional stability on sandy or wet road surfaces, while the Pre-Safe system anticipates potential collisions to protect all five occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a GCC-spec AMG flagship that has been maintained at the ideal mileage for its age, making it the perfect choice for a buyer who demands supercar performance in a practical daily package.
