Summary

This 2022 Giulia Veloce is a standout choice for those seeking a focused driver's car that remains highly practical for daily GCC use. With only 25,161 km, it sits well below the typical 45,000–50,000 km expected for a two-year-old vehicle in the region, offering significant mechanical longevity. The Veloce trim bridges the gap between the standard models and the high-performance Quadrifoglio, providing the iconic Italian aesthetic and sharp handling without the extreme running costs. In the GCC market, a black-on-black configuration maintains strong resale appeal due to its timeless, executive look. This GCC-spec example ensures full compatibility with regional service centers and provides peace of mind for buyers across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2022 Giulias

At just over 25,000 km, this Giulia has been driven significantly less than the average 20,000–25,000 km per year typical for cars in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This low usage means the interior materials, particularly the high-wear seat bolsters and steering wheel, remain in excellent condition compared to higher-mileage examples. The black exterior is a highly liquid color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention than more niche shades.

VELOCE vs Lower Trims

The Veloce trim is the most desirable non-Quadrifoglio variant, adding a standard mechanical limited-slip differential that significantly improves traction when powering out of corners. It upgrades the aesthetic with 19-inch five-hole alloy wheels and a more aggressive rear diffuser that sets it apart from the Ti and Sprint trims. Inside, you get 14-way adjustable sports seats with power bolsters and large aluminum column-mounted paddle shifters, providing a much more tactile driving experience.

Giulia vs Segment Rivals

The Giulia leads competitors like the BMW 330i and Mercedes-Benz C300 in steering precision and chassis balance, utilizing a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Its 2.0L turbocharged engine offers a class-leading 280 hp, providing a more spirited acceleration feel than its German rivals during highway overtaking. The 58-liter fuel tank and aerodynamic profile make it a capable long-distance cruiser for trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi or cross-border journeys.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0L powertrain typically averages between 8.4 and 9.8 L/100km, performing efficiently on open GCC highways while remaining manageable in stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is supported by the authorized Stellantis/Petromin and Gargash networks, which are well-established across major cities like Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha. While European sedans experience higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Veloce trim's desirability helps it retain value better than the base Sprint models.

Performance & Capability

The Giulia Veloce delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of 5.2 seconds, making it one of the quickest 4-cylinder sedans in its class. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a crisp 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, which can be manually controlled via the large aluminum paddles. The Alfa DNA drive mode selector allows the driver to adjust the throttle response and steering weight to suit high-speed cruising or enthusiastic driving on mountain passes like Jebel Jais.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is designed around the driver, featuring premium leather sports seats and a 8.8-inch multitouch display with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the GCC climate, the dual-zone climate control system is robust, and this trim includes dedicated rear vents to ensure passenger comfort during peak summer months. The 480-liter boot provides ample space for grocery runs or weekend luggage, maintaining the car's role as a versatile daily sedan.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Departure Warning, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The Giulia also features Adaptive Cruise Control and Front and Rear Park Assist with a high-resolution camera to simplify parking in tight urban spaces. Its lightweight construction is reinforced with high-strength steel and aluminum to provide a rigid safety cell for all occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, GCC-spec Veloce that balances exotic Italian character with daily usability, making it the perfect choice for an enthusiast who values both performance and market-favored specifications.
