Summary

This GCC-spec Stelvio offers an ideal balance of Italian performance and daily SUV practicality, finished in a high-resale red that stands out in the regional market. With approximately 60,000 km, its mileage is average for a two-year-old vehicle in the GCC, suggesting it has been used primarily for efficient highway commuting between cities. As the Veloce trim, it provides a significantly sharper driving experience than the base models, making it a top choice for those who value driver engagement without sacrificing space. The all-wheel-drive system and robust cooling make it a reliable companion for the UAE's demanding climate and fast-moving traffic. For a buyer looking to enter the luxury performance segment, this listing represents a well-maintained opportunity with the most desirable regional specifications.

This Car vs Other 2022 Stelvios

With 60,071 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits comfortably within the expected 20,000–30,000 km annual average for the GCC, indicating consistent care and highway use. The vibrant red exterior is a classic choice for the brand and historically maintains better residual value in the regional used market compared to niche colors. Being a GCC-spec model, it features the necessary cooling and filtration systems required to maintain peak performance during extreme summer temperatures.

VELOCE vs Lower Trims

The Veloce trim serves as the performance flagship of the 2.0L range, adding a mechanical limited-slip differential and a more aggressive rear diffuser that the Ti trim lacks. Inside, you benefit from 14-way adjustable sport leather seats and larger 20-inch '5-hole' aluminum wheels that provide a more commanding presence on the road. It also upgrades the cabin with dark-finish accents and gloss black window surrounds, catering to the GCC buyer's preference for a premium, sporty aesthetic.

Stelvio vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Porsche Macan and BMW X3, the Stelvio leads with a more direct, car-like steering feel and a standard carbon-fiber driveshaft for reduced rotational mass. Its 64-litre fuel tank provides competitive range for long-distance cruising between Emirates. While German rivals focus on tech interfaces, the Alfa Romeo offers a unique emotional appeal and a more balanced 50/50 weight distribution that is rare in the SUV segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 9.6 L/100km, though this can increase in heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, with a well-established authorized service network available across the UAE and major GCC hubs. While European luxury SUVs generally see higher initial depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the Veloce trim remains the most sought-after non-QV variant, helping to stabilize resale value after the first three years.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 280 hp turbocharged engine, this SUV reaches a top speed of 230 km/h, ensuring effortless overtaking on high-speed desert highways. The Q4 all-wheel-drive system monitors traction in real-time, providing stability on rain-slicked roads or gravel paths during weekend outings. With a 2,300 kg braked towing capacity and 200 mm of ground clearance, it is surprisingly capable of supporting an active lifestyle beyond the city limits.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused environment featuring an 8.8-inch multi-touch display and a premium 10-speaker audio system. Dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures all five passengers remain comfortable during peak summer heat, while the acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from road noise. The flat-folding rear seats allow the cargo area to expand from 499 litres to 1,600 litres, providing ample room for family road trips.

Safety

Safety is managed by a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, which are essential for navigating fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The vehicle also comes standard with lane-keeping assist and driver attention alert. Its structural integrity is evidenced by a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, providing peace of mind for family use on busy urban roads.

The bottom line

Perfect for the enthusiast driver who needs family utility, this Veloce trim Stelvio offers the best regional specifications and a high-impact color for strong future resale.
