Summary

This 2022 BMW Z4 sDrive 20i M Sport is a prime example of a modern roadster that perfectly balances open-top style with efficient daily performance. With its low mileage for a 2022 model in the GCC, it offers a nearly-new experience at a significant value compared to its initial showroom price. The Blue exterior is a highly sought-after shade in the UAE and wider region, ensuring strong resale interest and head-turning looks on the highway. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes with the peace of mind of local dealer support and a cooling system built for the desert summer. This listing represents a rare chance to own the updated G29 generation with the desirable M Sport package already included.

This Car vs Other 2022 Z4s

At just over 32,000 km, this Z4 has been driven significantly less than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC market. While many roadsters are kept as weekend cars, this one’s low mileage indicates it has been spared the heavy daily commute, preserving its mechanical integrity. The Blue paint is a standout choice that holds its value better than more niche colors in the secondary market.

sDrive 20i M SPORT vs Lower Trims

The M Sport trim is the essential choice for GCC buyers, adding the aggressive aerodynamic body kit, M Sport steering wheel, and firmer sport suspension that standard Advantage or Sport Line trims lack. Inside, you get the upgraded sport seats with memory functions and the larger 10.25-inch digital cockpit, which are high-demand features in the local used market.

Z4 vs Segment Rivals

The Z4 leads rivals like the Porsche 718 Boxster in terms of cabin technology and ease of use, featuring the intuitive iDrive system that remains a favorite across the UAE. Unlike the Audi TT Roadster, the Z4's rear-wheel-drive platform and 50:50 weight distribution offer a more traditional sports car feel. Its 52-litre fuel tank provides a surprising highway range, making it more capable for weekend trips between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is excellent for a sports car, averaging roughly 6.5 L/100km on long highway stretches and remaining efficient even in stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec model, it is supported by the extensive BMW authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The Z4 typically retains about 70% of its value over the first three years in the GCC, making it one of the more stable investments in the luxury convertible segment.

Performance & Capability

The TwinPower Turbo 2.0L engine delivers 184 hp and 320 Nm of torque, allowing for a swift 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.6 seconds. The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission provides lightning-fast shifts that are perfect for highway overtaking. With a tight 11-meter turning circle, it is exceptionally agile in tight urban environments like Downtown Dubai or Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in driver-focused design, featuring two-zone climate control that is exceptionally powerful for the region's heat. High-quality synthetic leather and M Sport accents provide a premium feel, while the fabric roof can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, perfect for the changing weather in the cooler months. Insulation is top-tier, keeping the interior quiet even during high-speed desert drives.

Safety

Standard safety features on this M Sport trim include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and parking sensors that are vital for navigating busy GCC city centers. The rigid body structure is designed for maximum impact protection, complemented by a full suite of front and side airbags. Stability and traction control systems are specifically tuned to handle the occasional sand or dust on paved roads.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a stylish, low-mileage convertible that won't break the bank at the petrol pump, this GCC-spec M Sport roadster is the smartest choice on the market today.
