Summary

This 2022 Huracan EVO Spyder is a masterpiece of atmospheric performance, representing one of the final chapters for the iconic naturally aspirated V10. In the GCC market, black remains a premier resale color, perfectly complementing the aggressive EVO lines and convertible silhouette. With its specialized LDVI system managing every aspect of the car's dynamics, it offers a sharper, more intuitive drive than the earlier LP610-4 models. For a serious buyer in the region, this specific example provides the perfect balance of year-model relevance and a road-ready presence for the cooler winter cruising months. Owning an EVO Spyder in the UAE means having one of the most vocal and visceral supercars ever to grace the E11 highway.

This Car vs Other 2022 Huracan EVO Spyders

With 35,818 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits at a typical mileage for a four-year-old supercar in the GCC, where these cars are often enjoyed on weekend drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi rather than kept as static garage queens. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring it maintains stronger value retention compared to more experimental colors. This mileage indicates the car has been driven as intended, likely keeping the mechanical seals and systems in better health than a low-use example.

EVO SPYDER vs Lower Trims

The EVO trim is a significant leap over the standard Huracan, introducing the 8.4-inch HMI touchscreen and the 'Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata' (LDVI) central processing unit. This specific trim adds rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring, technologies that were previously reserved for the track-focused Performante, making it much more agile on winding UAE roads. Unlike the RWD variants, the standard EVO Spyder's all-wheel-drive system provides essential stability during high-speed highway stretches and varied surface conditions.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

The Huracan EVO Spyder is often cross-shpped with the Ferrari F8 Spider and McLaren 720S Spider, yet it stands alone as the only one in the segment powered by a high-revving, naturally aspirated V10. While rivals rely on turbocharging, the Lamborghini offers instant throttle response and a legendary exhaust note that is highly valued by GCC enthusiasts. Its cabin electronics and air conditioning system are also widely considered more robust for the extreme summer heat of the Middle East compared to its British counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the EVO Spyder averages approximately 14.9 L/100km, though city driving in stop-start Dubai traffic can see this rise significantly. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km or 12 months, and with authorized Lamborghini centers well-established in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Doha, maintenance is straightforward for GCC residents. This model enjoys strong value retention as the supercar industry moves toward hybrid and turbocharged platforms, making the final V10s highly collectible.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is a 5.2-litre V10 producing 640 CV, allowing for a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 3.1 seconds. Its top speed of 325 km/h makes it one of the fastest convertible experiences available on the market today. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for seamless shifts, providing a relaxed experience in Strada mode for city cruising and violent, instantaneous gear changes in Corsa mode for track days at the Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the EVO features a driver-centric two-seat cockpit upholstered in premium Italian materials designed to withstand the region's intense sunlight. The 8.4-inch touchscreen governs everything from climate control to the status of the LDVI system in real-time. For GCC owners, the power-retractable soft top can be operated in just 17 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h, allowing you to quickly adapt to the changing temperatures during evening drives.

Safety

Safety is integrated through a sophisticated suite of electronic aids including advanced traction control and carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, providing immense stopping power for fast-moving highway traffic. The LDVI system acts as a predictive logic controller, anticipating the driver's next move to ensure stability on sand-dusted road surfaces. Dual-stage airbags and reinforced roll bars behind the seats provide essential protection in this high-performance convertible format.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the raw, unfiltered soul of a V10 with the versatility of an open-top cruiser, this black-on-black EVO Spyder is a standout opportunity in a market transitioning away from naturally aspirated engines.
