Summary

This specific sedan represents a prime opportunity for a buyer seeking near-new luxury with significantly lower mileage than the typical annual GCC average. The Gold exterior is a distinctive choice that offers a sophisticated alternative to standard shades while maintaining strong appeal in the local pre-owned market. As part of the latest W206 generation, this car brings a completely modernized interior inspired by the flagship S-Class, setting a new benchmark for tech in this segment. While originally an American spec vehicle, it provides a substantial saving over local equivalents while maintaining full compatibility with major service providers in the UAE. For the executive commuter, it offers the prestige of a modern Mercedes-Benz with a highly efficient electrified powertrain optimized for diverse driving conditions.

This Car vs Other 2022 C300s

With only 18,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typically seen in the GCC. The Gold exterior is a rare and premium finding that helps it stand out from the high volume of white and silver models in the market. This low-mileage status ensures the interior and mechanical components remain in near-factory condition, providing a genuine buying advantage.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim serves as the sophisticated entry point for the W206 generation, coming standard with features that GCC buyers prioritize, such as a large 11.9-inch portrait-style touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It includes essential comfort features like heated front seats with memory and a power sunroof as standard equipment. This trim avoids the complexity of higher-level packages while retaining the advanced MBUX voice control and wireless smartphone integration.

C300 vs Segment Rivals

The C300 leads rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 by offering an interior design that is visually identical to the ultra-luxury S-Class. Its 2.0-litre engine is enhanced with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, providing smoother stop-start transitions in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic compared to traditional petrol competitors. The generous 66-litre fuel tank ensures fewer stops during long-distance highway cruises between emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid powertrain averages approximately 7.5 L/100km, making it highly efficient for both city commuting and long highway drives. As an American spec vehicle, it offers a lower initial purchase price, though buyers should note that resale value in the GCC typically sits slightly below GCC-spec versions. Maintenance is straightforward, as the UAE has an extensive network of specialized German automotive centers capable of servicing this generation with high parts availability.

Performance & Capability

Delivering 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque, the C300 offers effortless acceleration and a 0–100 km/h time of just 6.0 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive setup and 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission provide a classic, balanced driving feel that is perfect for the UAE's well-maintained highways. Selectable drive modes allow the driver to prioritize fuel efficiency during the week or sharpen throttle response for more spirited weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a tech-focused sanctuary featuring 64-color ambient lighting that transforms the driving environment at night. Dual-zone automatic climate control is robust enough to handle extreme summer heat, while the acoustic insulation provides a quiet retreat from city noise. The 455-litre boot space is ample for airport runs or weekly family errands, complemented by 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats for added practicality.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety technology, including Blind Spot Assist and Active Brake Assist, which are vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The 2022 model also features a safe-exit system that warns passengers of approaching traffic before opening doors, along with Attention Assist to monitor for driver fatigue on long desert drives.

The bottom line

For the UAE buyer wanting the latest S-Class style and technology without the flagship price tag, this low-mileage C300 is a smart, tech-forward choice.
