Summary

This 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT represents the absolute peak of the Cayenne lineup, offering performance that famously broke the SUV lap record at the Nürburgring. With just 39,000 km, this GCC-spec example has been driven sparingly, averaging well below the typical 25,000 km annual usage seen in the UAE. The striking Blue exterior is a highly desirable choice in the local market, ensuring better value retention than more eccentric shades. For the GCC buyer, this is the ultimate dual-purpose machine—a track-capable weapon that remains perfectly composed during the daily commute across the Emirates. It stands as a more focused, driver-centric alternative to its heavier hybrid rivals, making it a rare find for those who prioritize pure mechanical engagement.

This Car vs Other 2022 Cayennes

At 39,000 km, this Turbo GT has covered significantly less ground than the average 2022 model in the GCC, which typically nears 50,000 km by its third year. The GCC regional specification is a critical advantage here, ensuring the cooling systems and AC are optimized for extreme summer heat, unlike imported American or European units. This mileage and spec combination makes it a top-tier candidate for buyers seeking a worry-free ownership experience.

TURBO GT vs Lower Trims

The Turbo GT isn't just a power bump; it sits 17 mm lower than the Turbo Coupe and features a carbon-fiber roof, titanium exhaust, and a massive 440 mm ceramic composite brake system (PCCB) as standard. It adds rear-axle steering and a 15% stiffer three-chamber air suspension specifically tuned for high-speed stability on highways like the E11. Unlike the standard Turbo, the GT is built for maximum agility, stripping away weight while adding carbon-fiber aerodynamic end plates.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Turbo GT leads the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX in pure track-bred engineering, offering a more precise front-end bite and superior handling balance. Its 90-liter fuel tank is specifically beneficial for long-distance hauls between Dubai and Muscat or Riyadh, providing significant range despite its high-output V8. While rivals focus on flamboyance, the Porsche offers a unmatched level of build quality and mechanical reliability in the harsh GCC climate.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.8 L/100km, though this fluctuates during stop-start city traffic in Downtown Dubai. Service intervals are required every 15,000 km or 12 months at authorized Porsche Centers, which are widely available across all major GCC cities, ensuring excellent parts support. The Turbo GT holds its value exceptionally well, typically depreciating slower than the standard Turbo due to its limited production nature and status as the fastest combustion Cayenne.

Performance & Capability

A verified 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds places this SUV in supercar territory, making highway overtaking effortless. The 850 Nm of torque provides relentless pulling power, while the active aerodynamics and rear-axle steering make it feel much smaller than it is when navigating tight city streets or mountain passes. While road-biased, its sophisticated AWD system and adjustable ride height handle gravel tracks and light desert sand with typical Porsche composure.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the four-seat GT interior features Alcantara upholstery and Sport Seats that offer exceptional lateral support for spirited drives. High-performance air conditioning is a hallmark of GCC-spec Porsches, cooling the cabin rapidly even in 45°C+ temperatures. The titanium exhaust system provides a distinctive V8 growl that is audible but well-insulated, ensuring long-distance comfort on cross-border road trips.

Safety

This trim comes standard with an extensive safety suite, including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes for fade-free stopping power and Lane Change Assist for safe highway navigation. The highly advanced Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system has been specifically recalibrated for the GT's increased power, providing a crucial safety net on fast-moving UAE highways. A 360-degree camera and comprehensive airbag system provide peace of mind for both the driver and passengers.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who wants the fastest SUV in the region without the weight of a hybrid system, this low-mileage, GCC-spec Turbo GT is a rare and rewarding opportunity.
