Summary

This 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is a track-focused powerhouse that currently represents the fastest production Cayenne ever built. With mileage well below the GCC annual average, this European-spec example offers a significant performance leap over the standard Turbo, featuring a uniquely tuned chassis and a high-output V8. Finished in a versatile Grey that holds strong resale value in the UAE market, it combines supercar acceleration with the utility needed for daily driving. For the serious GCC buyer, this model stands out as the record-holding SUV of its era, specifically engineered to handle high-speed dynamics with unmatched precision.

This Car vs Other 2022 Cayenne Turbo GTs

With just 16,622 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 25,000 km per year seen in the GCC. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable, neutral shade that facilitates easier resale in the local market compared to niche launch colors. As a 2022 model, it represents the first year of the Turbo GT's production, making it a sought-after flagship among enthusiasts.

Turbo GT vs Lower Trims

The Turbo GT sits above the Turbo Coupe, adding 90 hp and bespoke performance hardware that isn't available on lower trims. It features Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), rear-axle steering, and a 17mm lower ride height with a 15% stiffer air suspension as standard. A distinctive titanium sport exhaust with central tailpipes and a carbon fibre roof are exclusive factory features that justify its premium position.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Turbo GT leads competitors like the Lamborghini Urus and BMW X6 M in track-oriented precision, evidenced by its record-breaking Nürburgring lap time. It offers a 90-litre fuel tank, providing superior highway range for long-distance drives between emirates compared to more thirst-heavy rivals. While rivals focus on flamboyance, the Porsche provides a more focused driver's cockpit and superior heat-management for its high-performance components.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this high-performance V8 averages around 14.1 L/100km on a combined WLTP cycle, though GCC stop-start traffic may see higher figures. Porsche's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with recommended maintenance intervals every 15,000 km. The Turbo GT maintains excellent value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating slower than standard luxury SUVs due to its limited production nature and flagship status.

Performance & Capability

Generating 850 Nm of torque, this SUV launches from 0-100 km/h in a staggering 3.3 seconds. The active Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) works to eliminate body roll, making it exceptionally stable during high-speed highway overtaking or spirited mountain drives. Despite its track focus, the All-Wheel Drive system and water-cooled transfer case ensure it remains capable and reliable during the peak of the GCC summer.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a four-seat configuration featuring Alcantara sport seats that provide exceptional grip and heat-dispersion in the desert climate. It comes standard with a high-performance climate control system and rear cooling vents to ensure passenger comfort during 45°C summers. The cabin is insulated with acoustic glass, providing a refined environment for long cross-border road trips while still allowing the titanium exhaust note to remain audible when prompted.

Safety

This Turbo GT is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes for fade-free stopping power, which is vital for high-speed highway safety. Standard ADAS features include Lane Change Assist and a 360° camera system to aid visibility in dense city traffic. Adaptive LED headlights with PDLS+ provide superior illumination for night-time desert highway driving, ensuring maximum safety across all GCC terrains.

The bottom line

This Cayenne Turbo GT is the ultimate choice for a UAE buyer seeking supercar performance in a practical SUV body, offering a low-mileage, high-spec alternative to a new model.
