Finished in Carrara White—the region's most sought-after resale color—this GCC-spec SUV balances daily luxury with Porsche's hallmark performance. The Platinum Edition trim is particularly desirable locally as it bundles premium features like the panoramic roof and upgraded Bose audio into a cohesive, stylish package. It outshines segment rivals with its driver-centric chassis and high-speed stability, making it ideal for the UAE's fast-moving highways. For a buyer seeking the prestige of a Cayenne with a verified regional history and optimal cooling systems, this listing represents a strategic and safe purchase.

This Car vs Other 2022 Cayennes

With 49,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged roughly 12,250 km per year, which is significantly below the typical GCC luxury average of 20,000 km. This lower-than-average usage means less mechanical wear on the powertrain and a better-preserved interior. The White exterior is a strategic advantage, as it is the top-performing color for resale value in the Middle East due to its ability to deflect heat and its universal market appeal.

PLATINUM EDITION vs Lower Trims

The Platinum Edition provides a major equipment boost over the base Cayenne, adding 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels and the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) for superior nighttime visibility. Inside, it upgrades the cabin experience with an standard 14-speaker Bose Surround Sound system and 8-way leather sport seats, features that are often expensive standalone options on base models. You also get a panoramic glass roof and specialized satin platinum exterior accents that distinguish this as a limited-run trim.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Cayenne is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE, but it leads the segment in steering precision and high-speed composure. Its 3.0L V6 is tuned for a more linear, sports-car-like power delivery compared to the softer, comfort-biased setups of its German rivals. Additionally, Porsche’s PCM infotainment system and the tactile cockpit layout are often cited as more intuitive for driver-focused GCC owners.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 3.0L V6 averages around 9.2 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise to roughly 14 L/100km. Maintenance is streamlined in the region, with Porsche’s extensive authorized service network spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, typically requiring oil services every 15,000 km. As a GCC-spec Platinum Edition, it retains its value better than imported models, with depreciation rates for well-maintained Cayennes generally holding steady around 12–15% annually.

Performance & Capability

The 340 hp turbocharged V6 allows the Cayenne to reach a top speed of 245 km/h, ensuring effortless overtaking on long desert highway stretches. The sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system provides exceptional grip, whether navigating a sudden rainstorm or light gravel tracks during a weekend trip. While it’s road-biased, the 210 mm ground clearance and selectable drive modes offer enough versatility for most regional lifestyle needs.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the intense GCC heat, featuring a high-output air conditioning system and privacy glass that helps maintain lower interior temperatures. The 5-seat layout is versatile, offering 770 litres of boot space that expands to 1,710 litres with the seats folded, perfect for airport runs or family staycations. The combination of ambient lighting and the textured aluminum interior package creates a modern, executive atmosphere for both driver and passengers.

Safety

Equipped with a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, this Cayenne includes essential GCC safety tech such as front and rear parking sensors and forward collision mitigation. The Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) is particularly useful on unlit desert roads, as the beams swivel to follow the steering angle. Multiple airbags and a rigid steel-aluminum hybrid construction ensure maximum occupant protection during high-speed travel.

The bottom line

Perfect for the professional who wants a low-mileage, high-spec SUV with the best possible resale profile in the UAE. This Platinum Edition is a turn-key opportunity to own a modern Porsche that has been correctly specified and maintained for the GCC climate.
