Summary

The 2022 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT represents the absolute peak of SUV performance, specifically engineered to outperform even the most dedicated super-SUVs on the market. With only 39,000 km, this GCC-spec example has been driven significantly less than the typical regional annual average, ensuring it remains in prime mechanical condition for its next owner. This trim is a rare, track-focused evolution of the Cayenne, featuring a bespoke titanium exhaust and carbon-fiber aero as standard. For the GCC buyer, the Turbo GT offers an unmatched combination of supercar-level acceleration and the everyday reliability required for high-speed highway commuting across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2022 Cayenne Coupes

While many 2022 Cayenne models in the GCC used market have surpassed 50,000 km due to frequent inter-city travel, this Turbo GT sits at a lower 39,000 km, representing a well-maintained buying advantage. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a cooling system and interior materials designed specifically to withstand the extreme summer temperatures found in the region. The unique performance-focused exterior details ensure it stands out among more common Cayenne trims, supporting its long-term desirability.

TURBO GT vs Lower Trims

The Turbo GT sits above the Turbo and Turbo S E-Hybrid as a more aggressive, driver-centric machine. It adds a 17mm lower ride height, 15% stiffer air suspension, and standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) that are often optional on lower trims. Buyers also benefit from a standard titanium sport exhaust system and a carbon-fiber roof, which significantly reduce vehicle weight for sharper handling compared to the standard Turbo Coupe.

Cayenne Coupe vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Lamborghini Urus and the BMW X6 M Competition, the Cayenne Turbo GT leads with a more focused chassis setup that holds the official SUV record at the Nürburgring. It offers a more precise driving experience on fast-moving GCC highways than the BMW, while providing a level of mechanical refinement and daily usability that is often preferred over the more flamboyant Urus. Its four-seat configuration provides a cockpit-like feel for all passengers, emphasizing its status as a performance-first SUV.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption reflects the high-output V8, averaging approximately 14.1 L/100km, though highway cruising between cities is more efficient. Porsche’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring specialized maintenance for the GT-specific components is always available. The Turbo GT typically sees stronger value retention than standard Cayenne trims in the GCC market due to its limited production nature and status as the quickest petrol-only Cayenne ever built.

Performance & Capability

The Turbo GT delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. This performance is managed by an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission modified for quicker shifts and a water-cooled transfer case for the all-wheel-drive system. The standard rear-axle steering and active roll stabilization ensure the vehicle remains remarkably flat and composed during high-speed cornering or quick highway lane changes.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Turbo GT features a dedicated four-seat layout with eight-way sport seats in the front and a sport-contoured rear bench. The cabin is heavily appointed in Alcantara and leather, designed to offer high levels of grip and comfort during spirited drives. For the GCC climate, the powerful multi-zone climate control and high-grade cabin insulation ensure a cool interior even during peak summer months, while the updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM 6.0) provides seamless digital connectivity.

Safety

Standard safety features include the full Porsche ADAS suite, featuring Warn and Brake Assist with pedestrian detection and a 360-degree surround-view camera for easier parking. The vehicle is equipped with high-performance LED Matrix Beam headlights for superior visibility on unlit desert roads. Advanced stability and traction control systems are specifically calibrated to handle the Turbo GT's massive torque, providing confidence on both sandy shoulder surfaces and wet asphalt.

The bottom line

This 2022 Turbo GT is the definitive choice for the GCC collector or enthusiast who demands supercar performance in a versatile SUV body, offered here with lower-than-average mileage for the region.
