Summary

This 3-year-old Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury represents a high-specification entry into the premium crossover segment, balancing American luxury with urban maneuverability. With 75,000 km, its mileage is exactly in line with typical GCC annual averages for a car of this age, suggesting a history of consistent highway use. The Black exterior is a top-tier resale color in the UAE and wider Gulf market, ensuring it remains highly desirable for future buyers. As a Premium Luxury trim, it offers a more refined, chrome-accented aesthetic compared to the Sport trim, making it a sophisticated choice for executive commuting. For the GCC buyer, the standard leather interior and robust dual-zone cooling system are essential for maintaining comfort during peak summer months.

This Car vs Other 2023 XT4s

At 75,000 km, this vehicle sits at the expected average for a 3-year-old car in the GCC, where 25,000 km per year is common due to frequent inter-city travel. The Stellar Black Metallic finish is one of the most resilient and sought-after colors in the local used market, typically commanding a faster sale than brighter or non-standard shades. Compared to American-spec imports often found in the UAE, this GCC-spec example ensures full compatibility with local authorized service centers and regional map software.

PREMIUM LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Premium Luxury trim is a significant step up from the base Luxury model, most notably adding genuine leather seating surfaces and authentic wood or aluminum cabin decor. It introduces critical convenience features for the region, including a hands-free power liftgate, Rainsense automatic wipers, and illuminating door handles that assist in low-light parking. Drivers also benefit from power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors, which are vital for navigating tight parking spaces in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

XT4 vs Segment Rivals

The XT4 competes directly with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, standing out by offering one of the most spacious rear-seat legroom measurements in the compact luxury class. While rivals often feel cramped for adult passengers, the Cadillac provides a boulevard-cruiser feel that is better suited for long drives between Emirates. Its 62-litre fuel tank is also larger than many European competitors, reducing the frequency of stops on cross-country journeys.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L Turbo engine averages approximately 9.5 to 10.1 L/100km, which is efficient for an All-Wheel Drive SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Cadillac service intervals are typically set at 12,000 km or 12 months, supported by an established authorized network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Historically, the XT4 retains roughly 60-65% of its value at the three-year mark, outperforming many non-GCC spec luxury crossovers.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a 237 hp turbocharged engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission, the XT4 provides effortless highway overtaking power. The All-Wheel Drive system includes a driver-selectable mode with 'Tour', 'Sport', and 'Snow/Ice' settings, allowing you to optimize traction for gravel tracks or wet roads. The 1,588 kg towing capacity makes it a capable companion for light weekend recreational gear.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to insulate passengers from the harsh GCC environment, featuring acoustic laminated glass and active noise cancellation for a quiet highway experience. The dual-zone climate control is supplemented by dedicated rear vents, ensuring all five passengers stay cool during high-noon drives. With the 60/40 split-folding rear seats down, cargo capacity expands to 1,385 litres, providing ample room for large shopping trips or desert camping supplies.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this Premium Luxury trim includes Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are indispensable for safety on fast-moving UAE motorways. The XT4 also features Forward Collision Alert and Front Pedestrian Braking as standard, providing an extra layer of protection in dense urban traffic. Cadillac’s Safety Alert Seat uses haptic vibrations to warn the driver of potential hazards, a unique feature not found in many segment rivals.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec XT4 Premium Luxury is the ideal choice for a professional looking for a tech-heavy, comfortable crossover that has already cleared its steepest depreciation curve.
