Summary

This 2023 Genesis G90 Royal represents a rare chance to own the brand's flagship redesign with significantly low mileage for the GCC market. As the top-tier Royal trim, it offers a chauffeur-driven experience that rivals the established German benchmarks while providing superior standard equipment for the region's climate. The black-on-black color combination remains the most sought-after choice for executive sedans in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong future resale potential. With its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and twin-turbocharged power, it handles long-distance highway cruises between emirates with absolute composure. For a buyer seeking modern luxury and a comprehensive feature list without the typical premium-brand maintenance overhead, this is the definitive choice.

This Car vs Other 2023 G90s

With only 25,000 km on the odometer, this G90 sits well below the typical 40,000–50,000 km average seen on 2023 models in the GCC. The black exterior is the primary choice for executive resale in this market, holding a distinct value advantage over lighter shades. Finding a Royal trim with such low usage is uncommon, making this specific listing a high-priority option for serious buyers.

ROYAL vs Lower Trims

The Royal trim (often referred to as the E-Supercharger or Prestige in other markets) adds a significant performance and luxury boost over the base 3.5T. It upgrades the cabin to include a 26-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system and multi-chamber air suspension for a cloud-like ride. Critically for the GCC, it adds power-adjustable, ventilated, and massaging rear seats, turning the back row into a first-class lounge.

G90 vs Segment Rivals

The G90 competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, leading the segment in standard equipment-per-dirham. While rivals often charge extra for rear-seat cooling and executive packages, these are standard on the Royal trim, making it better suited for GCC summers. It also offers a larger 445-liter boot capacity compared to the S-Class, providing more practicality for airport transfers and travel.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L twin-turbo engine is designed for high-octane fuel common across the UAE and KSA, returning approximately 11.2 L/100km in mixed driving. Genesis has established an extensive authorized service network via distributors like Juma Al Majid and Wallan, ensuring parts and expert technicians are available across the GCC. While initial depreciation is steeper than a Lexus LS, the G90 retains value better than most European rivals after the three-year mark due to its lower long-term maintenance costs.

Performance & Capability

The flagship powertrain delivers 415 hp, enabling a smooth 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 5.2 seconds. This performance is managed by an intelligent All-Wheel Drive system that provides exceptional stability during sudden lane changes on fast-moving highways like the E11. Multiple drive modes allow the driver to prioritize fuel efficiency or sharpen the throttle response for overtaking in heavy city traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary from the heat, featuring high-performance Nappa leather and an AC system specifically calibrated for Middle Eastern summers. All four outboard seats are ventilated and heated, ensuring every passenger remains comfortable even when temperatures exceed 45°C. Acoustic laminated glass and active noise cancellation work together to keep the cabin whisper-quiet, even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

The G90 Royal comes equipped with a full ADAS suite, including Blind-Spot View Monitor which displays a live video feed in the cluster—a vital feature for navigating multi-lane GCC roads. It features Highway Driving Assist II, which provides lane-change assistance and adaptive cruise control for long desert drives. A 360-degree camera system and remote smart parking assist make maneuvering this large sedan effortless in tight urban parking structures.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer who values technology and rear-seat luxury as much as brand reliability, this low-mileage G90 Royal is the smartest alternative to a new showroom model.
