Summary

This 2026 BMW 735i Excellence represents a prime opportunity for executive buyers seeking the latest generation of flagship luxury with minimal usage. With just 12,000 km, the vehicle is barely run-in compared to the higher annual averages typical in the GCC, and its white exterior ensures the strongest possible resale demand in the local market. The 735i offers a more efficient entry into the 7 Series range without sacrificing the imposing presence or high-tech interior of its larger-engined siblings. The hybrid powertrain is particularly well-suited to the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh, providing smooth electric assistance during low-speed crawls. Choosing this GCC-spec model ensures full local warranty support and a cooling system designed specifically for the extreme desert heat.

This Car vs Other 2026 735is

At 12,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for luxury sedans in the GCC. The white finish is the most sought-after color for the 7 Series in the UAE and Saudi markets, significantly aiding value retention and heat reflection during summer months. As a GCC-spec car, it bypasses the warranty and navigation compatibility issues often found with imported North American or European units.

EXCELLENCE vs Lower Trims

The Excellence trim focuses on a refined, chrome-accented aesthetic compared to the sport-focused M Sport packages, appealing to those who prefer classic executive elegance. It includes premium features that GCC buyers value, such as the Bowers & Wilkins audio system and enhanced interior lighting, which are often costly options on base models. This trim also standardizes higher-quality interior materials and additional acoustic glazing for a quieter cabin on long highway drives.

735i vs Segment Rivals

The BMW 7 Series leads the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in cabin technology with its curved display and Operating System 8.5, offering a more modern interface for tech-focused owners. Compared to the Audi A8, the 735i provides a more distinctive road presence and a more efficient mild-hybrid setup that excels in urban fuel economy. Its 540-litre boot capacity also offers a practical advantage for airport runs and golf trips over several competitors in the full-size luxury segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The 735i is the most economical way to own the current-generation 7 Series, with a real-world combined consumption of approximately 7.9 L/100km. Service intervals for BMW in the GCC are typically every 12,000 to 15,000 km, supported by an extensive authorized network including AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors in the UAE. While luxury sedans face higher initial depreciation than Japanese counterparts, the 735i maintains a strong following in the pre-owned market due to its lower running costs relative to V8 models.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six works in tandem with a 48V mild-hybrid system to produce 286 hp, reaching 100 km/h in a swift 6.7 seconds. This all-wheel-drive configuration provides superior stability during high-speed highway cruising between emirates, even during occasional heavy rain or on sandy road shoulders. The hybrid system seamlessly manages energy, providing an extra torque boost for overtaking while maintaining a refined, quiet engine note.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring four-zone automatic climate control and high-performance insulation. The Excellence trim ensures all five passengers enjoy ample legroom, while the driver is assisted by the expansive BMW Curved Display. Standard acoustic glass significantly reduces wind and road noise, making the 735i an ideal mobile office for the executive commute.

Safety

This trim is equipped with BMW's full suite of active safety technologies, including lane departure warning, forward collision alerts, and a 360-degree camera system that is essential for maneuvering this long-wheelbase sedan in tight parking structures. The adaptive LED headlights with cornering functions provide exceptional visibility for late-night desert highway travel, while a comprehensive airbag system protects all occupants in the event of a collision.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 735i Excellence is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the prestige and technology of a brand-new 7 Series while benefiting from the initial depreciation of a lightly used car.
