Highlights

• 671 km electric range (WLTP)
• 170 kW peak DC charging
• 90.6 kWh battery

Summary

This 2023 EQE 350+ represents a significant opportunity for GCC buyers looking to enter the luxury EV segment with a nearly-new vehicle, showing just 11,000 km on the odometer. As the high-range variant of the EQE lineup, it offers the efficiency and battery capacity needed for effortless travel between emirates like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that stands out from the common grayscale fleet while maintaining excellent professional appeal. While it is a Chinese regional spec, it provides the same fundamental Mercedes-Benz engineering and silent performance that makes the EQE a quieter, more refined alternative to the Tesla Model S. For the urban commuter in Riyadh or Dubai, this sedan delivers a premium, tech-forward experience at a competitive entry point.

This Car vs Other 2023 EQE 350+s

With only 11,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is significantly lower than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, offering a like-new mechanical state. The Blue exterior provides a distinctive look that maintains strong secondary market appeal, especially for buyers wanting a more personalized luxury aesthetic. As a single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant, it is optimized for maximum efficiency compared to higher-mileage dual-motor examples.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The 350+ trim is the 'range hero' of the lineup, utilizing the larger 90.6 kWh battery and an efficient rear-drive motor to outdistance the standard EQE 300. It typically features the MBUX cockpit with high-resolution displays and sophisticated ambient lighting as standard, which are key priorities for tech-focused drivers in the UAE. Compared to base models, the 350+ often benefits from enhanced cabin materials and superior sound insulation for a true executive feel.

EQE 350+ vs Segment Rivals

The EQE 350+ competes directly with the Tesla Model S and BMW i5, leading the segment in aerodynamic efficiency which translates to a quieter cabin during high-speed highway cruising. While rivals may offer higher raw acceleration, the Mercedes focuses on ride quality and interior craftsmanship, featuring an MBUX interface that is often considered more intuitive for traditional luxury buyers. Its charging curve is also highly consistent, making it a reliable partner for the UAE's growing fast-charging infrastructure.

Running Costs & Resale

Electric running costs are exceptionally low in the GCC, with home charging rates significantly undercutting petrol costs for a similar-sized V6 sedan. As a Chinese spec vehicle, it is important to note that a GB/T to CCS2 adapter is required for use at most public UAE chargers, and manufacturer warranty coverage may differ from local Gargash or EMC GCC-spec cars. Depreciation for luxury EVs in the region follows a similar curve to high-end European sedans, though the low mileage on this specific unit provides a strong buffer for future resale value.

Performance & Capability

With 288 hp and 565 Nm of instant torque, the EQE 350+ delivers smooth, linear acceleration that is ideal for navigating fast-moving highway traffic. It achieves a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 6.4 seconds, ensuring confident overtaking without the noise of a combustion engine. The rear-wheel-drive configuration provides a tight turning circle, making this large sedan surprisingly maneuverable in congested urban areas like Downtown Dubai or West Bay.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed as a 'sanctuary,' with advanced acoustic glass and seals that block out the harsh GCC summer heat and road noise. Standard features include the latest MBUX infotainment system and highly adjustable seats that remain comfortable even on long drives to Salalah or Muscat. The dual-zone climate control is engineered to maintain ice-cold temperatures rapidly, a vital feature for the local climate, while the flat floor provides generous legroom for all five passengers.

Safety

Mercedes-Benz safety is evident through a comprehensive suite of ADAS features, including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist, all of which are invaluable for high-speed multi-lane driving. The vehicle is equipped with a robust array of airbags and structural reinforcements around the battery pack for maximum occupant protection. Its 5-star Euro NCAP pedigree ensures that safety is prioritized as much as technology and range.

The bottom line

For the eco-conscious professional who values silent luxury and class-leading range, this low-mileage EQE 350+ is an excellent way to skip the initial depreciation of a new EV while securing a flagship driving experience.
