Summary

This 3-year-old V 250 offers a unique opportunity to own a bespoke luxury bus that bridges the gap between executive transport and family logistics. Its mileage is well below the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a GCC vehicle of this age, ensuring the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine remains in its prime. The Black exterior is the premier choice for resale in the region, particularly for high-end MPVs where professional presentation is key. While the standard V-Class is a class leader in refinement, this Maybach Luxury Edition adds a layer of interior exclusivity that rivals private jets. For the GCC buyer, this is the definitive choice for long-distance travel between Emirates where passenger comfort is the absolute priority.

This Car vs Other 2023 V 250s

With 44,317 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 25,000 km annual average common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Black paintwork provides a significant advantage for resale value in the local market, as it is the most requested color for executive and hospitality fleets. Maintaining lower-than-average mileage on a 3-year-old V-Class protects the integrity of the suspension and interior electronics, which often see heavy wear in higher-use examples.

MAYBACH LUXURY EDITION vs Lower Trims

The Maybach Luxury Edition transforms the V 250 from a premium bus into an elite lounge, adding diamond-stitched leather and upgraded rear captain's chairs that are not available on standard Avantgarde trims. It features a high-definition 360-degree camera system and an enhanced MBUX infotainment suite, both of which are essential for navigating tight urban parking in Dubai and Riyadh. The addition of dedicated rear-seat climate zones and premium sound ensures a superior experience during the peak of the GCC summer.

V 250 vs Segment Rivals

The V 250 leads rivals like the Toyota Alphard and Volkswagen Caravelle by offering a more car-like driving dynamic and the prestigious Mercedes-Benz MBUX interface. Its 70-litre fuel tank provides a superior range for cross-border drives or long hauls between Abu Dhabi and Muscat compared to many smaller-capacity competitors. While rivals focus on utility, the V-Class emphasizes noise insulation and high-speed stability, making it more suitable for the region's fast-moving highway networks.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0-litre petrol unit averages between 9 and 12 L/100km, performing efficiently on long highway stretches across the UAE. Service intervals are typically set at 15,000 km or one year, with a strong network of authorized centers available in every major GCC city from Kuwait to Salalah. The Maybach Luxury Edition trim specifically helps combat the standard 15% annual depreciation of European MPVs by appealing to the niche high-end chauffeur and VIP market.

Performance & Capability

The 211 hp turbocharged engine provides a smooth, linear power delivery that is ideal for effortless highway overtaking even with all eight seats occupied. Rear-wheel drive architecture ensures a tighter turning circle than many front-wheel-drive competitors, which is a genuine benefit in dense city traffic. Multiple drive modes allow the pilot to prioritize fuel efficiency during city commutes or comfort during long-distance touring between Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured with eight seats, featuring high-grade leather and adjustable second-row captain's chairs for ultimate passenger autonomy. A powerful, GCC-calibrated air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents ensures the entire cabin remains chilled even when external temperatures exceed 45 degrees. Advanced acoustic glass and heavy insulation keep the interior whisper-quiet, shielding passengers from road noise during high-speed highway travel.

Safety

This trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are vital for safety on multi-lane GCC highways. The standard 360-degree camera provides a bird's-eye view, making the vehicle's large footprint easy to manage in crowded shopping mall parking lots. Crosswind Assist is also included, providing essential stability when driving through open desert roads prone to sudden gusts.

The bottom line

This V 250 is the perfect acquisition for a buyer seeking the ultimate in group luxury without the wait times of a new order. Its low mileage and high-spec Maybach interior make it a standout choice for both elite families and executive transport services.
