Summary

This 2023 911 Carrera GTS is a standout find in the GCC market, offering a nearly new driving experience with only 4,990 km on the odometer. As a three-year-old vehicle, its extremely low mileage—well below the typical 20,000 km annual average for the region—makes it a prime target for serious enthusiasts. The Carrera GTS trim is widely considered the 'sweet spot' of the 911 range, bridging the gap between the daily-driver Carrera S and the track-focused GT3. Finished in White, the most resilient resale color in the UAE and wider Gulf, it offers a strong hedge against depreciation while managing the intense summer heat better than darker alternatives. For a GCC buyer, this is an opportunity to skip the long waiting lists for a high-spec 911 while securing a car that remains mechanically fresh.

This Car vs Other 2023 911s

While the average 2023 model in the UAE has often covered 40,000 to 60,000 km, this European-spec example has covered less than 5,000 km. This ultra-low mileage reflects occasional weekend use rather than daily commuting, preserving the interior and mechanical components in a state rarely seen in the pre-owned market. The White exterior is the gold standard for resale value in the GCC, ensuring maximum buyer demand when it eventually returns to the market.

CARRERA GTS vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the GTS over a Carrera S adds significant hardware derived from the 911 Turbo, including the high-performance braking system and helper springs on the rear axle. You also get the Sport Chrono package, Sport Exhaust, and PASM sport suspension lowered by 10mm as standard. For the GCC driver, these upgrades provide a much more composed and aggressive stance on fast-moving highways like the E11.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Audi R8 or Mercedes-AMG GT, the 911 Carrera GTS offers superior daily usability and a more sophisticated cooling system that handles stop-start traffic in 45°C heat with ease. Its 3.0L flat-six engine provides a unique rear-engine balance that rivals cannot match, paired with a boot space (frunk) that is surprisingly practical for a supercar. In the GCC, the 911's reputation for reliability in extreme conditions remains its biggest advantage over Italian competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 911 Carrera GTS is famous for holding its value better than almost any other sports car in the GCC, typically seeing lower annual depreciation than its segment rivals. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.5 L/100km, which is efficient for a 400+ horsepower machine during long-distance drives between Emirates. With Porsche's extensive authorized service network in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, maintaining this European-spec car is straightforward, though buyers should verify local warranty coverage for imported units.

Performance & Capability

With a verified 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 311 km/h, this GTS is a serious performer on the track and the highway. The 3.0L twin-turbo flat-six delivers linear power that makes overtaking at high speeds effortless. The Rear Wheel Drive configuration offers the purest steering feel, while the 8-speed PDK transmission is widely regarded as the best automatic gearbox in the world for its lightning-fast shifts.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a driver-centric layout with the GT Sport steering wheel and Race-Tex upholstery, which stays cooler to the touch than full leather during the Arabian summer. Despite its performance focus, the air conditioning system is exceptionally powerful, a critical factor for comfort during the UAE's peak heat months. The 2+2 seating configuration provides extra interior storage or space for children, making it a viable grand tourer for trips to Oman or across the Saudi border.

Safety

Standard safety features on the GTS include Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and high-performance six-piston front brakes that provide immense stopping power. The LED Main Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) are particularly useful for night driving on unlit desert roads. For highway safety, the car is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and advanced traction control tuned to handle both high-speed tarmac and the occasional sand-dusted surface.

The bottom line

This is a collector-grade 911 Carrera GTS for the buyer who wants near-zero mileage and the best resale color in the GCC without the new-car wait times. It represents the perfect balance of track-ready performance and UAE daily-driving refinement.
